We got two of these on sale for $5 each and it was totally worth it! The silicone insert creates a waterproof seal which we’ve tested with fruit (like watermelon), salad, jello, and yogurt to name a few. Zero leaks! One of the compartments is pretty small so we use that for dips, little teats like chocolate chips, or granola for the yogurt. I like the included utensils, but keep in mind they’re stored on the top of one of the compartments so don’t put yogurt with it or their spoon will be covered. The coating of the utensils also started to come off after a few weeks on the edges so we’ll need to keep an eye on that to make sure it won’t cut the kids (it’s a bit jagged on the handle right now) and won’t leave any behind in their food. The box is also fairly hefty so it adds a good amount of weight to lunch boxes. Otherwise this is a great product! ... show more

I love that this is sturdy, strong and seal well. It's also easy to open which the last one I purchased for my son for prek wasn't always. I also love that the cuttery is inside. I was always afraid he would loose the ones that had cuttery outside. I wish these came in darker colors or prints but that's my only regret. ... show more

This lunch box is perfect for my 2 year old. We need to send his lunch to daycare and this has plenty of compartments so I can pack many things without any worries of leaking. I also like that it comes with stainless steel spoon and fork so I don't have to pack them separately. Munchkin as always nails their products every single time. The media could not be loaded. We tested a million kids lunch boxes and this is now my favorite! Easy to clean, easy to open & close for tiny hands, love the handle and the super sturdy utensils. Highly recommend

The outer shell of the lunch box I've never had any issue with. I've bought this item about two years ago and bought 6 to 8 in both colors since. First off this is my honest review grim having a destructive pre-schooler who throws stuff down. Pros: strong and sturdy, good size for a lunch box, good food section sizes, light weight feel to it, appealing color in green or pink. Hads a handle and the opening has never popped open to expose food, even when I fill my child's lunchbox. Has silverware that is school friendly and sits inside if you want to put it in there. I sometimes do and don't keep the silverware. Easy to clean, even when I use peanut butter and honey for an item in breakfast or lunch. Cons: The container isn't leak proof. I've learned to deal with it. I just put the lunch container in a plastic bag and keep it horizontal. By the time I get it back after school it's back into the plastic bag with all the liquid all over but as long as you realize it isn't leak proof it's no biggie. Other issue Ive encountered is the removable silicone seal after some time and washes to it, it cracks and isn't really effective of keeping items in their sections. If the removable silicone seal was a replacement item we could buy I would give this item more stats but unfortunately I've had to buy a whole new lunchbox due to the silicone part being non effective from use which I get but as I stated already. A replacement for it would be awesome so maybe something the company can think about. One last thing. Like any kind of container, don't leave food in it for over night or longer, especially smelly food. The plastic will absorb it and you can't get it out no matter what you use. Trust me from experience, I forgot my kids left overs from Friday and you don't even want to know. I literally tossed everything, including the lunch box! ... show more

I bought this for myself - a very large adult, and it's wonderful for the lunches I make. Clockwise from the bottom left, I put in small slices of cheese, I can fit about 8 1-inch rectangles of cheese in here. Next up is my hummus, and I can fit about 2 oversized tablespoons of hummus in this small slot. On the top is a handful of baby carrots or several 'adult' carrots, if you will. On the far right, maybe 10 slices of deli meat or 2 chicken tenders and in the center, a large handful of grapes and tomatoes. If I make egg cups instead of the deli meat, those go in the center with the fruit on the right. The hummus always gets stuck to the roof and a TINY bit will sometimes get on my grapes/tomatoes but it's very minimal so far. I also love the heavy duty utensils, even if I dont often use them. This thing is STURDY, crush proof and not cheap. It doesn't smell weird, there's no paint coming off ... I'm very satisfied with this product and am about to purchase 2 more so I can have a full set of 5 for an entire week. ... show more
