I ordered this mullet wig for my husband to wear to embarrass the kids. What fun is it being a parent if we don't take the time to make our kids laugh in public every now and then? This wig fit him well, and totally transformed his look. It almost looks like real hair on him, which is a plus. My hubby is bald and grew up in the era when mullets were totally in. Seeing him with hair was humorous to us all. It was easy to put on and take off. It came with a hair net, which was appreciated. It will be fun to add to a collection to use for Halloween.

Is it weird that I wish this wig looked worse than it does? It’s a blond mullet wig (fun fact: blond refers to males and blonde refers to females; this is only shown on men so it doesn’t get the e at the end.) I ordered it for a fun Halloween hairdo. It’s disappointingly not as long in the back as some the listing photos show (though that may be the fault of a bad Photoshop job.) A couple of us tried it on, and the length looked much more appropriate on an adolescent than an adult. It does have a pretty realistic-feeling hair texture which was kind of cool. I am not a big wig person but I have another one which has several small combs sewn into the edges to help keep the wig in place. I wish that this wig had combs like that because it didn’t stay in place as well as I would like, mostly at the forehead. It does have elastic and hooks at the bottom rear that you can use if you need to tighten it around your head a little better. The wig came with a little hairnet kind of thing to contain your actual hair and make a smooth surface to put the wig on. I didn’t like the hairnet. I had to stretch it a ton and it still felt too tight on my head and didn’t really want to stay in place. It was also challenging to tuck my long hair beneath it. I have some cheap wig caps which are more like a nylon stocking material that I will use instead. So, it is a bad hairdo, which is what I was after. But it’s just not as bad as the listing makes it out to be and somehow that is a mark against it. It’s fun, I’ll only wear it for a little while, but I wouldn’t recommend this particular ’do to friends. Given the issues I had with it, there’s room for improvement. I think three stars is fair.

I ordered this wig for an “unconventional” party. It was perfect for the occasion. It was the hit of the party. Everyone wanted to wear my husband’s wig. It later became a prop in the Photo Booth. For our need, it was perfect! So so happy with the results. Great purchase!!

Ordered this fun wig to add to our selection of wigs for cosplay costumes and events. Being an adolescent during the 80’s I grew up seeing these crazy mullet hair styles everywhere. This mullet wig is awesome! It is very soft and loaded with curls!. When I brush it, the wig does shed a little bit but nothing more than normal. Yes, it is a great value for the low asking price.
