I am obsessed with these little notebooks. I only WISH that they came in grid rule but hopefully someday soon. B5 is the best size for note-taking! The books are slightly smaller than other textbooks, manuals, laptop, etc. and so the corners don't get beat when carrying them around. The paper is nice quality. I use G2 pens and the writing generally does not bleed through (nor does the paper get crinkly). This is great if you have a lot of subjects or projects and like starting fresh notebooks. They have 30 physical pages (so 60 for writing); margin dots on the first and last line of every page; and the size of the book is about 7 x 10 (I have not measured). I am studying for the bar exam and have a lot of different subjects. It's nice to have everything for that subject in one place, and also nice to not have to crate large notebooks around. I was so pleased that only a few days after the package arrived I placed an order for another 10. The notebooks are good when laying flat on a table. The cover is soft, not not suitable for writing on a lap. Even folder over will not do. If you work in bed without a desk this might be an issue. The other night I was reading in bed and reached over to make a note and it was very awkward.

These are great. I use them for scratch paper, typically with micron, there is occasionally a tiny bit of bleed through, but nothing bad whatsoever. The paper is great, and these are an incredible value. If they're on sale, they're genuinely as cheap as you can get, and well worth it.

This came with 5 notebooks, each with about 30 pages each. They are color coded as well, with different color lining on the binding. (Red, Yellow, Green, Grey, and Navy) While it seems like, considering the physical size of the notebooks, and the small amount of pages, that you wouldn't be able to fit much in them. However, there are no margins on the top, which make room for lots of lines and you can actually write a lot on each page! (More than I expected.) I ordered these for taking notes in my classes, especially the ones where notes are optional, just to help me stay organized. I also love writing with brush pens on the tops of my pages and using Zebra Mildliners to highlight. The brush pens + Mildliners both don't bleed through the relatively thick paper. (Note: there is faint ghosting, though.) Overall, I absolutely love these for taking notes and they are a perfect, compact notebook to bring with me everywhere. These also conveniently fit into two pocket folders. Things to consider: these are size B5 notebooks, meaning they are not as big as a normal piece of paper. There is also a limited page count, so these are definitely not the best notebook for everyone. They also have a bendy "cardboard" cover which adds protection. These notebooks also took a long time to arrive, and I didn't receive them until after my school year began. I ordered them in early August and received them on September 24! Although I do think these are worth it. I believe (with my shallow research) that these are authentic MUJI brand, and would definitely suggest them. I wish they had come faster, but they were shipped from Asia (because they are the real brand) so this was to be expected. I hope this review was helpful (:

I really love the quality, the only problem I have is that one of the notebooks corners was bent and there is a stain in another notebook, other than that it’s not too bad.

Notebooks that look classy, lie flat -unlike spiral notebooks, and have no metal to unravel or hook on things- what's not to love? The paper inside is lined and doesn't feel cheap or overly bleached out. I use a Papermate felt pen, which is dark and almost like a marker, which you can see on the backside of the page. It isn't an issue with writing on both side of the paper and there is not readability issue, but for drawing, I skip the next page if it's something I really care about. I use mine as a sketch journal and it makes me want to write in in as opposed to a spiral notebook. And I like it over the standard journal because I can have several notebooks with fewer pages, so it is easy to separate my journal into notebooks of subjects or time frame. One is my hospital adventures with drawings and writings and it's easy to thumb through if I want to remember that later on.

I’ve always been interested in Muji products, but this time I decided to start off purchasing some of their notebooks! (I’ve heard a lot of great things about Muji supplies, and I wanted to test that). So far, these notebooks are excellent quality (I purchased 2 packs, and I might just purchase another). The paper quality is top notch, and I see myself filling up this notebook far faster than some thicker ones (since less pages to me are less intimidating). I recommend these notebooks for anyone who needs something affordable and good quality. Give up Mead, give up Five Star and get these!

LOVE these. I just reordered for the new school quarter. They're the perfect size, each notebook is just enough to last me the whole quarter for a single subject, and they're more compact than the average notebook so they don't take up too much space in my backpack. I love the minimalistic design it allows me to customize the cover, and the cardboard-like covers give them a vintage-y look, very cool. The pages are nice and thick so the ink absorbs nicely, and you don't see the through the pages the writing on the page before. The lines are also ruled smaller than college-ruled which allows for more writing on a page (it makes up for having less pages than college ruled notebooks), and the lines are very faint so the writing pops out more. Also, even though its not spiral bound, the open notebook lays flat and you can easily fold one side back without a problem. I'm probably going to order these for the rest of my college career!
