    • Hunting seat
I love this seat for archery hunting. It's small enough, I strap in onto my pack. It has a little Wright to it, but not too bad. Works awesome on almost any tree. I added a ratchet strap, it holds tighter than the strap thst comes with it. I still highly recommend this seat and suggest using a ratchet strap. ... show more

    • Muddy Ultra Tree Seat
Great product for the price point. Works well....the seat angle is slightly adjustable (via adjustment screw) as is tree attachment belt for varying tree sizes. ...my tree is is approximately 18" in diameter and it fits. I would highly recommend assembly (and testing) prior to going afield. NOTE: THIS SEAT IS NOT TO BE USED AS AN ELEVATED TREE STAND... THE FEET OF THOSE USING THIS SEAT MUST CONTACT THE GROUND AT ALL TIMES IN A SEATED POSITION FOR SAFETY! ... show more

    • Usefulness
Seems solid and probably would be a winner. Wasn't able to give it a good chance, because of other circumstances.

    • Not the quality I’ve come to know from Muddy!
The seat came with the cross bar uninstalled and though it included hardware, the instructions did not cover this part. Clearly it was not meant to be shipped this way. I’ve used many Muddy stands before and unless this shows me something extremely unexpected in the woods, I’ll be trying a different product/manufacturer next time. ... show more

    • Do not buy
This does not strap to tree tight no matter what u do. Would be comfortable if it would strap to tree. No matter how hard you pull on strap you cannot get it tight. The bottom bracket does not stay on tree will just slide back and forth. I will modify with ratchet straps jut so I didn't waste my money. Piece of junk. 15 min after I wrote the 1st part I was trying my best to make it through the night since I walked all the way in here and the strap broke and I fell on the ground and seat post jabbed me in the back. If I could give this thing negative stars I would. I have plenty of muddy ladder stands and love them but if they actually put this product out to sell I will find another brand to use. This thing is junk. ... show more

    • It’s alright
Review Image by Casey Zieg
So I purchased this not for sitting in, but I did test it as a seat and it worked fine - just don’t go thinking this is going to be a cheap option for a tree stand to hunt from - you’ll want both feet on the ground. This might be a nice thing to take camping and set on a tree for extra seating? The kids might enjoy it more than an adult would. A critique I would suggest would be if the adjustment screw allowed the seat to pitch up even further. With all that said, it worked perfect for my application - I am a bee keeper and used this to set a bee box on for a high tree extraction trap-out. It was nice not having to drill holes into the tree to mount the box. ... show more

    • Awesome alternative to hang-on stand.
Nice, lightweight ground-level tree stand. Attaches to my backpack, so easy to move it around. Comfortable, but a small, foam seat cover helps on very cold days. A bit challenging on the initial assembly, but once that's done, very easy to deploy on any suitable tree. Doesn't replace a tree stand, but works well for hilly, wooded areas when you're on the go. Quality materials. ... show more

    • Comfortable
Holding strap stretches then the seat moves around. I removed the original strap and put a ratchet strap in its place and it works great. The seat is wide enough and deep enough to be comfortable. Lightweight and easy to set up. The seat folds up so you can leave it. I own three of them it's a good product for the money. ... show more
