I’ve had many pair and they have always lasted minimum 5-6 years, serious everyday wear. The fit is so go I can work my horses on the ground and feel light-footed - even run in them if necessary. Solid shoes but not heavy or bulky. I don’t mind running errands in them or spending all day in them. Summer or winter. Completely waterproof. True to size, but won’t hurt to go up 1/2 size. Excellent shoe. I owned short and tall muck boots years ago until they wore out after years of hard use. Then forgot how great they were. Then I saw these. Not pretty like the hard rubber garden shoes but SO COMFORTABLE. They are a bit expensive but worth it

I wear these every day except in snow for very dirty tasks in loose debris and wet conditions. Easy to slip in and out of yet they keep dirt from finding its way in. The treads are shaped to shed dirt instead of trap in in the grooves. The insoles never crumple or slip. The shoes are super comfortable, like an extension of my body. I wear them to town, too, even when they are caked with mud, because I don't want to give up the comfort. I have tried other brands and there is no comparison. They last me an average of two years before cracking and letting water in, but I keep them for one more dry season before replacing them. They are totally worth the usually high price. They are not always available so buying two pairs when the price is right is a good investment. Well made shoe. Purchased for gardening. This was the best choice out there to meet her needs. My wife has a wide width foot and they fit fine. She is used to a looser fit but they may give a little over time. Pros- nice waterproof shoe with good fit. Cons- the heel of the shoe is raised a little and is not squared out. Can cause possible instability. There is a stretchy rubber ring around top of shoe that makes it harder to get on and can cause some rubbing at the back of ankle. I wish they put stretch rubber at top sides to allow ease of putting on and removing them. ... show more

I'm really not sure how people have gotten their Muck garden shoes to last for years as some people say. This pair is my fourth pair in about eight years. The first two pair were simple ones (around $40) and the first pair cracked that first summer, I returned to the garden place I bought them and they replaced them. Second season they cracked, ripped whatever you want to call it. So the third pair I spent more money on a couple years ago around $90. They cracked. I sent MUCK an email asking what I was doing wrong or what I could do to prevent that. No response. However that being said I bought the fourth pair because they are comfortable, water proof, nice grip on the bottom so I don't fall. I only wear them from May to about the beginning of Oct. when I garden. I don't abuse them. They just don't last for me. If I could find something with all the qualities I require but lasted longer...I'd buy them instead of the Mucks. Haven't found them. I'm older and know comfort is top priority for me. ... show more

I purchased these shoes for bank fishing. I needed something that was waterproof, durable, comfortable, and provided good support. So far, these shoes fit the bill. Normally, I wear a size 8 and that’s what I purchased. It’s a good fit. I have a wide foot (not wide enough to have to wear an extra wide shoe), and the toe box is a little wide so it’s perfect for me. The insole is very cushioned but still provides support. I have worn the shoes for hours while standing, and my feet weren’t aching like they had been. I’ve worn them on muddy banks and shallow water, and they are definitely waterproof. The tread is also great for walking on uneven ground and rocks. My only complaint is the neoprene around my ankle is kind of tight but not unbearable. I would definitely recommend!! ... show more
