I bought a different pair last year and I have literally worn them every day. The last ones eventually started cracking at the sides of the toes where the foot bends and was letting in water when walking through it. So I got these on a deal. I live in the country and I live in these boots most days. We do a lot of trail walking back in our woods with my dog and these are the shoes I wear due to the muddy trails. They are completely comfortable and I choose to put them on when I do chores outside as well. I love them so much that I even throw them on for little errands too. These run a bit large, ima 9-9.5, so heavier socks are required. Size 8 might have worked, but rather have more room than less.
