  • Great waterproof gardening boot; won't hold up to walking on cement
Size: 9 Color: Brown
I've been searching for the right work boots for several years now. I grow plants for a living, and 9/10 boots, even claiming to be waterproof, will leave my feet wet at the end of the day. The thin rubber boots I've tried like "deck boots" break down from use too quickly, thicker rubber boots are too clunky and inflexible. Both leave my ankles and calves sweaty. These are a nice in-between, comfortable, flexible, but definitely still a little clunky. In my job the bottom of my pants get wet, but I'd rather that than having sweaty ankles or sores on my shin and calf like some boots are prone to giving. For working in mud and grass, these boots should be great and hold up a good long while. Unfortunately I work on cement all day long, averaging 7+ miles of steps every day. After the first day they were notably worn. About 2 weeks in, the grip is largely smoothed out on the heels. The fact that these are just slightly too big in the ankle for me, combined with aspects of my job, definitely contribute to the wear. There is still plenty of rubber left, and I plan to wear them until they're dangerously slippery or wear through. They really are some of the most effective waterproof boots I've tried and are quite comfortable. I love that you can just slip in and out of them, but they're not too loose. I will update when they give out. I've spent over $400 on work boots in the past year, so if these last me 3 months and are still waterproof, I'll be thrilled. Edit 1 year later: My Mucksters finally wore through to the point where they were absorbing water, but I definitely got several hundred, if not a thousand or more miles of walking with them. I could see these lasting a literal lifetime of someone just using them in their backyard/garden. I bought another pair, and 2 weeks in I've worn them for over 100 miles. No noticeable wear yet. I'm being more conscious of not dragging my feet and it seems to make a huge difference in longevity. My only minor complaint about these boots is that, if you walk a ton like me, there's just not enough support in the soles. My toes and arches can get a bit achy, but not terribly so, and I'm sure a nice insole would eliminate that problem. Overall a very solid buy. If you can get them under $100, even better. There are very few boots in any price range that perform as well while remaining as comfortable. ... show more

  • Great quality boots
Size: 11 Color: Black/Gray/Roses Print
I have been a long time wearer of Muck boots. I live on a cattle farm and muck is a way of life. My 15 year old Muck boots are still good but are a tall pair and I wanted a shorter pair that were easier for me to put on. These fit the bill. I love the fact you can roll the top over and have a cute pattern as the cuff. Being able to hose your boots off on a cattle farm is important. Also they have thick soles to protect your feet from rocks and stones and have enough support to be able to wear them all day. Muck boots are substantial. They are not thin like a Wellie or rain boot. They are warm and we typically wear them all day. They are a great work boot and a great value for the money. ... show more

  • Comfortable boots, but wrong pair sent
Size: 8 Color: Brown
This is my third pair of Muck Boots. I find them to be comfortable yard work boots that also keep my feel dry. I have taller Mucks that are great in cooler weather when I'm wearing long pants, but the tall boots cut into my shins when I wear them with shorts in the warm months, but I still want to keep my feet dry from mud. These lower Mucksters are great for lighter duty outdoor jobs in the mud and muck. I wear them in the garden and for yard work in the warmer months with shorts, and they are very comfortable for several hours at a time. I like that I can roll them down for an even lower boot (if desired), and they do not rub or irritate my shins like the tall boots. I ordered the boots labeled "Brown." In the photo they are tan with plaid lining, but I received the brown boots with chickens on them. Wrong pair sent, but they are cute and comfortable and I don't mind the chicken print, so I'm going to keep them. ... show more

  • Great Product, Wrong Delivery
Size: 8 Color: Brown
Love the boots, they just sent me the wrong color/pattern from what I ordered. I just didn’t feel like going through the process of returning them and re-ordering

  • Good boots
Size: 9 Color: Green
Great lightweight chore boot. Easy to slip on/off. I ordered a 1/2 size larger bc I just want something to throw on in a hurry with or w/o socks. They fit as expected - so think the sizing is correct. No leaking so far and the soles give you some traction in mucky soil.

  • Love!
Size: 7 Color: Blue
Love these! They are very lightweight and comfortable. I use them to take care of the chicken coop and daily chores around the muddy yard. I’ve also gone on walks in these and was comfortable. I’m usually a 7-7.5, I got a 7 and they fit great. I have room for thicker socks but it’s also comfortable and doesn’t slip with thinner socks. ... show more

  • Great for yardwork
Size: 8 Color: Black/Gray/Roses Print
This is my first pair of Muck Boots. We have a lot of property and would wear old tennis shoes simply because they were more supportive than the garden boots I would find at local area stores but wasn’t ideal as any moisture seeps right through plus tennis shoes don’t protect my ankles from bugs nor from debris from using the weed trimmer. My husband told me about these, so I gave them a try and glad I did. These Muck Boots have been great. - I can easily slip into them without needing to bend over and assist (if I fold the top part down, then I need to assist with slipping them on) - My feet stay dry - The neoprene upper part is comfortable and flexible—allowing me to move around with ease. - The grip on the tread is nice and allows me to work in wet conditions without slipping. - Purchased my normal size 8 and they felt a bit sloppy in the foot. I wear normal weighted socks with them (it’s summer time) but they’d probably fit better if I wore heavier weighted socks. - While the footbed offers more support than the boots at local area stores, they still don’t offer me enough support, so I placed a custom insert inside and they fit much better and are more supportive. ... show more
