These days getting my normal French roast has been difficult because it is unavailable or way too expensive so l took a chance and tried this well crafted organic roast. A little issue with my first bag l contacted the command they immediately made it right and l am enjoying a rich cup right now! Great decaf isn't easy to find but this is one of the few roasters that has it nailed. We have thoroughly enjoyed this Peruvian treat. You won't be disappointed in this purchase.

UPDATE: I tried to mix this with regular oily fresh dark roast and it (the bitter terrible flavor) ruined it. I will throw this out but not in the healthy compose I have. This stuff may be toxic and many people don't care about lying. Money money money. I have tried my first cup of coffee and this is about the worst tasting organically grown coffee I've ever had. I has a very weird taste and feels funny on the tongue. I will find some other dark roast coffee and try to mix it as not to "waste" it. I will not buy another bag from the company ... to toss money out and save a few pennies. I am very very disappointed. It is not a pleasant flavor. It is weak and bitter at the same time ... spew. Kale is less bitter.

I've bought 2 bags of these beans several months apart and they were both the same. The beans are quite dry such that when they are ground they seem to pick up static electricity and cling to the plastic container. There are also flakes of what appear to be skins. Unfortunately I did not think of taking a photo of the grounds until after finishing the second bag. The taste of the coffee was okay (not great), but I won't buy it again.

People, this is GOOD coffee. I have always drank good quality coffee (which does not need to be expensive, just lucky to be from the South American best coffee regions) and this is good coffee.
