  • Like the Product
The only thing "bad" about this product is that it is easily dented, somewhat thin, but.... thats due to it being lighter to carry. durable stainless, but thin enuf to get dents (no biggy, just aesthetics) ....

  • There are not enough good things to say about this pot set
There are not enough good things to say about this pot set. They nest inside of each other perfectly. I have taken them camping several times and cooked right over the fire. I have had no problem with anything sticking to them and they clean up so nicely. If you are into ultra light backpacking, I would not recommend these. They are a little on the weighty side, but knowing how well they work, I would sacrifice just to carry these guys. I love my pots and would definitely recommend getting some for your next camping trip!! ... show more

  • functional pots with some problems
The three pots look good (shinny stainless steel) and nest together nicely to save space. There are two problems. First, the largest pot should be made of thicker steel. When half-full with water, it is already too heavy for the lifting handle, which leaves permanent dents on the side wall. The side wall also deforms too much by the weight of the water. Second, the lifting handle is too weak for lifting the largest pot filled with water. It is made of soft aluminum and deforms too easily. Stronger grade of aluminum should be used, and the contact areas should be made much larger. ... show more

  • Good for camping
These are great in our travel trailer. But if anything gets burnt to the bottom it’s difficult to get clean. But that’s to be expected since they aren’t non stick pans.

  • Would be better if there was something to hold these pots in ...
Would be better if there was something to hold these pots in place better. I ended up having to use ziplock bags to prevent them from making too much noise while I hike. Otherwise, these are great pots for backpacking.

  • A Lot Heavier Than Many
I was looking for a cook set I could use to feed my family of three or adding a guests on the trail. MSR had what I needed. Yes, these are heavier pots than many and certainly heavier than any I own, but I don't mind a bit. I'll gladly pack these knowing they will be more than adequate for my/our needs. Edit: One other thing. Unless my basic math skills are wrong, there's only three pots in this "4 Pot Set" I'd certainly recommend these pots to anybody. ... show more

  • Happy
I'm happy with these. The four different sizes each have their own lid unlike the alpine 2 set. Lighter weight than the alpine 2 set as well. When you go to pack it, remember: you only need to carry one, the smallest one that is usable. Taking all four on a trip is just silly.

We use in RV for .limited space. My first use was cooking rice. Didn't burn. Turned out great. Easy to clean.
