Good snug fit with velcro wrist band that make adjusting the tightness of the glove easy. The palms are tough for handling lines to avoid chafing or burns when handling halyards. Good quality for the price.

These are advertised as gray but they are very green. Other than that, pretty good glove. I bought for sailing and they would do the trick and the fit was excellent. The only complaint, besides the color, is that the Velcro at the bottom is VERY stiff and was super uncomfortable when I had a hair tie underneath. I took off the hair tie and it was fine...but my husband's were way more comfortable to I returned these. ... show more

My husband is a racing sailor so here is his review: These gloves may be the best value for the money compared to gloves that cost 3 or 4 times as much. I race big boats competitively and am on the water a lot so I need gloves that can handle a lot of friction yet can grip in all kinds of weather, and can last a season without falling apart. I go through a couple pairs of sailing gloves a year. Typically the palms wear out where the control lines rub as you are pulling and adjusting things. After a couple of months of use they get a wear spot, then a hole and finally a tear and I replace them. These gloves fit and look like my $20 to $30 gloves, feel just as comfortable, and so far are holding up just fine. It would be nice if some company would look at their used gloves, decide to spend the extra fifty cents to reenforce the palm, and call them "tough stuff" or something, but until they do I'll keep buying these. I don't see the sense of spending two or three times the money to get a product that wears out just as fast: makes more sense to me to buy a couple of pairs of these for the same money... ... show more

My only comment is that they run a big large, especially after getting wet on a sail and stretching.
