I've been using Mr. Shield for my electronics, especially anything touchscreen (various Nintendo handhelds, various touchscreen laptops/Chromebooks, and numerous phones) for years now. I had tried a few different screen protectors (both glass and film) for DS's and my older Moto phones, but was never really pleased with any until I found Mr. Shield brand. Now WHENEVER I look for a screen protector it goes Mr. Shield first, then Spigen (usually because I am using a Spigen silicone case as well..at least for phones and smartwatches), and then everything else. This time, for the Ally...I'm a lil disappointed. While most glass screen protectors nowadays are slightly smaller than the screen itself, I was hoping that for the Ally that it would be a more exact fit. While I'm okay with a few mils of edge past the protectors on my phone, some PC games need EXACT touch precision to do well on. Since most games that I have played that allow touch controls typically have more extreme lower screen "buttons" than top screen, I decided to center the screen protector slightly lower than true center. Why the 5 star if I feel that a sizing improvement could be made? A) Partly because this was the easiest install ever. I followed the "hinge style" installation instructions and it went on perfectly...to the same exact spot that I centered it too before adding the hinge stickers, AND not a single air bubble. Normally when I instal screen protectors (even Mr. Shield ones, and ALSO even when doing the hinge-style installation) I either get a decent amount of small bubbles, or one or two large bubbles that I have to work out. Often times it may be bad enough that I can't push them all out and need to try again using one of the extra screen protectors. This was the first time that not a single bubble formed (and on the first try)...I used three hinge stickers on the bottom of the screen FYI. B) The edges that aren't covered aren't really all that bad. I've had phone screen protectors that had way more of gap than these do, and they worked out fine. So even though I feel that a better fit is possible, I am still happy. If I don't give an update in month or two, then you can be assured that these work perfectly for the Ally. If I have any issues within for first 6 months, I'll be sure to update then. ... show more
