I have 2 dogs. I would have posted photos but it won't let me for some reason. 1 is a short hair 110 lb mutt. Could be some mix of pit, lab, coon dog, black mouth cur, I don't know. She is a big girl with a pit smile, but longer black snout, and has the black and tan saddle color. Either way, she has that straight, short, wiry hair that embeds and threads itself into everything. You wouldn't think she could shed that much, but she has an odd, dense white (even though she isn't white) undercoat that she leaves everywhere she goes. Almost so dense that she seems waterproof. It is hard to wash her and actually get water down to her skin. If she rubs across your leg, your pants are covered in white hair. It even weaves itself into my boyfriends dreads. My other is a medium length hair 50 lb herding breed mix with a very thick, poofy undercoat. She kind of looks like she has a lions mane, and sheds clumps from her longer rear end hairs. The hairs are lightweight and wispy, so they just float in the air, and tickle your face, kind of like a cobweb, when you pet or brush her. A lot like cat hair. It floats all over the house. It is on the center ledge of my windows, all over the sills, in my sconce lights 5' high, and literally stuck to the walls. For some reason, it manages to always gravitate towards my food. Usually 1 hair manages to find it to my plate, underneath my entire meal. I honestly have no clue how. I sat down to eat ice cream once, got up, came back and at least 10 of her hairs managed to float into my food. The fan seems to consistently carry it around the house if you disturb anything. It doesn't seem to matter how much I sweep the floor, vacuum, and sweep the walls. Yes, the walls. Anyways, I have the gloves with the little rubber bumps on them. Those seemed to work best on my short hair dog, but to really work her over, it meant dog hair was flying everywhere. I have the slicker brush, which I like. It gets a bit if hair from my short hair dog, but she really only likes it because she wants me to scratch her butt with it. I don't use it much on her because it it hard on her skin, but she likes it because she is itchy. Like has to take 3-4 antihistamines a day kind of itchy. The slicker brush helps get some of the undercoat off my medium hair dog pretty well. However, I was looking for something to really pull out that undercoat. This brush seems to work well for both dogs. I'm about to use some de-shedding shampoo and overhaul them again.

listen, BUY THIS PRODUCT ASAP! that’s all i need to say. i have a 91pd 6yr old german shepherd and when i tell you i have not met a deshedding brush that could tackle her. however, i will eat my words because this brush has worked wonders and has made my life 1000% so much easier. she has 2 BIG coat blows a year (spring and winter) but sheds all year long. one whole grocery bag full to the top in one sitting. it doesn’t pull hair or cut hair like some deshedding brushes. it just takes out what needs to be taken out. she’s itching less which tells me that dead hair was bothering her more than i thought and she absolutely loved being brushed with it. only con i have is i wish the handle was a little longer but maybe a just have big hands lol. you will not regret this buy.

This brush is the best for any animal you have. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, they have all sorts of fur. Smooth rough and other kinds I have a husky a golden retriever a tabby and a black cat . This was so useful because I was looking for a brush to get the undercoat of the fur for my husky and my black cat. I saw it on a social media platform where it does me how to use it. I will never buy another brush again!!!! If you want a brush for undercoat this is what you need! Have a good day

It gets the job done and the dogs line up for their turn so they obviously love it. And with this heatwave, they’re getting brushed weekly and there’s been waaay less hair just floating around the house.

For the price I wasn't expecting the best quality, just hoped it would do the job, as my fur baby has incredibly long hair (burmese mountain dog) and summer time absolutely kills him with the heat, and then kills my house cuz of his shedding lol, but this brush curbs it like you wouldn't believe, then to top it off you also get a dope mustache sticker (Mr pens logo) AND instructions on how to get a FREE gift from them after your purchase, im stoked about it, Mr pen you have outdone yourself again! Will be a customer for life!

This is an extremely durable brush. It helps get the undercoat out of our dogs coat. I expect this brush to last for an extremely long time. I’m glad I found this on Amazon. I probably would have ended up paying 4-5 times as much at a chain pet store.

My cat doesn't like it. It pulls hair out. I can brush some parts with out the pull, I have to be very careful.
