Buy this. It's very good quality grip tape, goes on easily and looks great. The package shows up with a fun little mustache sticker gift and information on how to contact the company if you have any issues or questions. Very well done on the customer service front. A few install tips - first, make sure to prep the surface and get a good sharp exacto to cut off the excess; any tabs or tears on the edges will look bad and could impact the bond. It also helps to have a rubber roller tool to press it down. Next, make sure to use gloves. The top of the grip surface is very abrasive and will cause micro cuts on your hands. This is by design and works great on shoes and as a grip, but if you try to install and smooth out the tape with bare hands you'll have given yourself a nice dermabrasion treatment. ... show more

I cut squares and adhere to back of quilt ruler to prevent slipping. I'm sure there are other ways to use as well.

This grip tape is more course than what I am used to. Be careful when installing, it will tear easy like laffy taffy. used my board to roll a portable AC unit in the door, and it ripped off the grip. For the money, it works and looks cool. Just be careful to cut it with a razor and be gentle with it. ... show more

Good quality product the grip tape was clear and workable if I need I will purchase again the photo of a skateboard deck that you see has stickers on the skateboard itself the white paint came on the board originally and I just covered it with clear grip that gives you some idea what you might be able to produce ... show more

    • Don't install bare handed.
Super coarse, so should grip great, but wear leather gloves to install or your phone won't recognize your fingerprint for a week. Maybe you could use a round sanding block to roll over it and press it down.
