Remember this is a travel batting cage, it's only 15' long so tee hitting, soft toss, or (my favorite) the pop toss machine are your options. I've been using it for slowpitch batting practice with the pop toss machine, and for that, it's perfect. I would not leave this up for an extended period of time because of wind and UV damage to the netting. Overall I'm pretty happy with this setup, and as long as your expectations aren't too high you probably will too.

The Good: -Once up it’s ok hit whiffles in, not sure it would stand up to baseballs The Bad: -Very hard to put together -Feels cheap The Bottom Line: I found this MR 15ft batting cage pretty hard to set up. I actually bent one of the poles by mistake. I think this cage would be good for whiffle balls but I’m not sure if it could take hitting baseballs in it. Overall, you get what you pay for and while this is cheap, it’s probably not going to last very long unfortunately.

Light weight and portable batting cage. Assembly does time some time but its not too difficult. The netting looks pretty good and should hold up fairly well. The cage is sturdy enough to hold up with the fiberglass poles which is what is used for most camping tents. Its definitely does what its intended for and works well as a portable net.

MR 20 batting cage. Impossible to assemble. Cheap plastic stakes snap in two. Fiberglass poles do not fit into the net sleeves properly. Sleeves are too short. DO NOT BUY!!

I ordered this in the fifteen foot size for my son who plays elementary baseball. The short size of fifteen feet is great since we have a small back yard to set it up in. Assembly is required and we set it up every time we practice. Setup usually takes about ten minutes. The frame seems thin, however, it is quite sturdy once assembled and hasn’t collapsed or come apart after taking dozens of hits. The netting seems to be good quality as well since it hasn’t torn or stretched from almost daily use. We are extremely happy with this batting cage and would highly recommend it.

Now that my son is playing baseball, he needed a portable batting cage net to practice wherever he goes. It unfolds and pops up in seconds and folds down nicely so we can fit it in the car. The bottom is 15’x12’ and the peak of the arch is 12 feet high, perfect for batting or pitching practice. With super durable netting, my son will get years of use out of it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a portable batting cage net based on my experience so far and the below average price. Hope you found my review helpful. :)

This thing is huge and a disaster to assemble/keep upright. I was hoping to make a bit of a batting cage in my backyard with this, but it is so giant and awkward that my son only got to use it for an hour in a half collapsed state. It is nearly impossible to get it to take on the shape shown in the product photo. You need a lot of support ropes and need a crew of assemblers to hold it in place. With the right infrastructure in place this might work a bit better, but the quality is not that great (just a rope net) so it is not going to like any long time exposure to the elements.

So this receives 5 stars because it is exactly as advertised and functions as desired, but I will say it is nothing super over the top special. It's functionally tent poles with a net instead of a tent. Definitely gets the job done, but something tells me that any of the "batting cages" on Amazon are overpriced when looking at the cost of materials. Nevertheless, this product is as advertised and is not priced higher than any of the other options on Amazon, so still deserving of the 5 star review.
