It's a lovely and comfortable futon, although I only tried it out in the seat position. The futon came vacuum sealed and rolled up in the box so it was packaged very well. Unfortunately, once I opened this futon and set it up, a very strong odor which smelled like wall paint emitted from the futon fabric. The scent immediately made my throat feel as if someone was squeezing my neck. I figured I would give the futon a week to air out, but I started to experience asthma-like symptoms. Finally, I took the advice of another customer and asked for a replacement. In a review here a customer said he had a similar experience and asked for a replacement and that resolved the issue. However, for me it was the same case with futon #2. I did go to see a doctor eventually who told me I was having an allergic reaction. Keep in mind I don't have allergies of any sort that had been known to me until this point. All in all, the experience was a difficult one, having to send both futons back and dealing with the health issues in the end. On the bright side, the customer service from this company was great and I received quick responses about my inquiries which I appreciated. ... show more

Y'know why I bought this bed? Because right before I bought this bed, I bought an air bed from a local shop near where I live. Word of advice: Never try to use an air bed as a full time bed. You wake up and oops you're flat on the floor. So, I came home to Amazon and purchased this particular futon. It's wonderful! It lofted up very quickly, and is a dream to sleep on. Just ask my cat -- I can't get him off it! I would recommend this futon to anyone who is looking for good value at a very reasonable price, and I'd further recommend buying it through Amazon, because they are easy to deal with, notify you of shipping and delivery dates, and then provide the UPS tracking number. It arrived here within about a week after I purchased it, and even beat Amazon's estimated delivery date by two days! ... show more

It's very nice but it was deceiving in the fact that my college student thought that it came with the frame. It is only the mattress. he loves it and is just using it without the frame. He's a freshman. He doesn't care!

When I saw the picture, I thought I will get a futon. Its only the mattress, I realized a little late. I tried to cancel the order after couple of hours of placing the order, but I came to know it was already late. Once it came, I retained it.
