I was nervous about the sizing at first (my shoe size is usually - Wide 9 Womens), but the size 8 fit great for me! They look super cute! Love these skates!! I get lots of compliments. I typically wear a size 7.5/8 in shoe and got a size 8. Size 7s were too tight. So fun skating around! Definitely felt stiff at first, but as I continue to practice and break them in, they’re becoming more comfortable.

Its a lot more stable to me then other skates I've tried and they are a lot more comfortable. They wheels feel great outdoor and indoor, I havent skated for around 7 to 10 years and took them up again after seeing the moxi girls. When I tried other skates they where alnost the death of me so I saved up and bought these instead of that $279 pair that I will one day get but not today honey. Now if your a beginner or your getting back into it, these skates are a great pair to start off in. One things is for sure I'm going to change the lace and wheel colors to black, cause this is to bright for my soul. ... show more

These are beautiful skates, but I don't think I will keep them. I unboxed them, loosened the wheel nuts so that the wheels spun freely and put them on. First impression is that the boot is so incredibly stiff that it will never become comfortable enough to enjoy. I knew that the boot was PVC before I purchased it, but I didn't think it would be this unyielding. I did skate around my house for a bit and the ride was very smooth and comfortable, easy to turn and stop, responsive to my movements. Within ten minutes the top of my feet, ball of foot area was in so much pain that I had to stop. I have high arches, so the distance from the sole of my foot to the top of my foot is pretty large, and I think that is why it rubs right there. Overall the skates are beautiful, well-made and a great quality for the amount you pay. Unfortunately for me the boot is just to stiff and uncomfortable to keep them. Fyi, I wear an 8.5 in trainers, I ordered these in an 8 and the length and width of the boot were suitable. ... show more

I am an elderly(but not old) Grammie. I feel young and vibrant for y age. I recently took up roller skating as a friend had a party, and it involved Skating. oh dear. I decided to take classes. I used my new skates the first time yesterday. They were amazing, so different from the rentals. (better be). And I understand getting the metal trunk was a great asset. I had tried all the major brands of skates including Riedell and Impala but these were the winners. They are the most comfortable and have a smoother ride. The wheels are great for both indoor and outdoor skating and the weight is perfect for beginner tricks.
