I bought these skates used (box very damaged but skates perfect!) and another pair of skates at the same time to compare them. I ended up returning these after about 10 days. The reason: I have one toe that felt like it was getting shoved under the others. I read up on different lacing techniques to help but after 10 days skating in my home, it was clear this toe was a deal breaker for me. I have a narrow foot so I was actually surprised by the toe feeling shoved. Maybe the toe box is/was just a bit narrower than normal. What I liked about these boots was the padding, especially at the top/lip of the boot and on the tongue. I also liked the stiffness of the booth. I felt I had pretty solid support. I'm use to ski boots and the padding and design of this skate gave me the same comfort as my ski boot. For these reasons, I wanted to keep the skates but went with a suede skate instead. WHAT I WISH I HAD KNOWN: after I returned these skates, I found a few articles about breaking in skates. Depending on material and design of the boot, it can take about 12 hours of skate time to get a boot to molde to a foot. Be patient. Maybe my toe would not have been an issue in the long run, but I'd rather have a long break-in period then blisters that keep me away.

SO CUUUUUUUUUUUUTE AND STURDY . I haven’t tested them yet but they feel amazing and have great ankle support . I did take the advice from everyone and I went down one size . I wear a 7 in women’s so I got a 6 && it came with a tool and tie covers UPDATE: I went to the outside skatepark and skated for hours literally . They are tight but with time that will get better but the support and quality is amazing .

The skates look great and after adjusting the wheels with the skate key, they roll wonderfully. I like to go fast, so I loosened them quite a bit. Boots are very stiff and the tongue was uncomfortable and dug into my shin on one leg. Wearing a thick ankled sock would probably help, and hopefully the boot will loosen up a bit over time. For a beginner or someone who needs a lot of support, they are probably great. The laces are great quality. I hope they hold up because they seem pretty good so far.

These were my very first pair of skates! I’ve had them for about a year and they’re still sturdy! I made a couple adjustments to them like the wheels and cushions but they’re good for beginners!

I’ve been dying to get my Moxi skates since they tend to get a lot of hype and praise and I must say, “so far so good.” Skates seem to be of good quality and comfortable. I am sure I will get the enjoyment out of them I expected.

This is a great skate particularly for beginners or if you’re looking for more support. I feel more stable in these with the stiffness of the boot and the longer wheelbase versus my suede Luna skates. I got these more for cruising outdoors and beginner skate park. Maybe when they get more broken in or I get stronger it will be easier to use it also for some dance moves but it’s definitely less flexible than a suede boot. As of this review, I’m up to about 6 hours in them. They look just like the photos. The boot is a soft, buttery yellow with peach-coral laces. The box and charm are cute too. I appreciate that it already comes with the skate tool and toe caps. On comfort… The very first time I put them on, yeah, kind of painful (vs a suede boot) but I re-laced and it was ok. So, they’re good when I’ve laced them right. I now lace once halfway up, then pull up and adjust the tongue, wiggle my foot around, and then I tighten starting from the toe and then lace all the way up. Other observations… They are much warmer than a suede boot. The stock laces are a bit slippery so if you want a more snug, secure fit, I’d recommend changing laces. I’ve seen some not great reviews about the wheels but I’m quite liking them. They’re pretty grippy and stable. Depends what you’re looking for I guess. Tip on sizing: I bought a 6 and it fits well. Best to measure your foot length for both feet as that is a universal measure. I’m a 24-24.2cm. In regular shoes, I wear 7 or 7.5 (EU 37/38) depending on the brand.

I was a bit worried ordering these from amazon and not just ordering directly from moxi but the delivery was super quick! and they are the real deal and super cute! they have cats and bunnies on the wheels which is a huge bonus because who doesn’t love cats and bunnies?

I dont have wide feet at all, but they were still pretty tight. I ordered my usual converse size which is 5 men/7 women. They fit, meaning my toes dont touch the front, but they are kind of hard to put your foot in. It squeezes the top of your foot and you cant loosen it because of how stiff the material is. I should have gotten a mens 6 instead of 5.
