I've only used it a few times, but the audio quality is good. It's also directional, so the sound is more focused. Without the mic, your camera picks up sound from all around the device. I bought this product for my wife since she was recording Sunday school for our church. The video and sound quality standi the lights really help to clear up shadows and make it look like a professional recording. Totally worth the price and it arrived on our anniversary very happy

I got this to start doing some VLOGs for my YouTube Channel and its a great starter kit. Pros: ● Small and lightweight. ● Well built out of plastic and extruded aluminum. ● High Quality Shotgun Microphone ● Long battery life on the light Cons: ● The mic holder feels cheap, but it is pretty solid. ● The aluminum bar could be longer because the wind filter gets in the way of the light and blocks it. ... show more

it does as advertized. windscreen could potentially block the lighting so make sure to adjust and keep them apart. mic picks up cleaner than my smartphone, but the volume on my smartphone mic seems to be louder still. it would have been good if the mic vibration stand could be rotated so that you can angle the mic from time to time. same with the light. overall, it's ok. if you need something that could assist you capture vlogging or interviews via smartphone, not bad for a budget setup. will post a review on my youtube channel: coznowEiZcan , soon. ... show more

This kit gives a lot of value for the money. The mic itself almost makes the whole purchase worth your money. But the rest of the kit is high quality as well. The grip is great and versatile for many setups, the mount works even on cameras so it's a great addition.
