    • Good product but beware the lights hum........
The set up is easy the build is sturdy the down side is that the light has a loud fan when adjusting the light and the mic picks up on it so you have a hum while recording the gopro adapter that comes with it doesn't fit gopro hero 5 black or 6 black you have to buy that adapter for the 5 and 6 separate other then that I wish they would of made a preamp instead of 10db gain or cut overall pretty satisfied with it ... show more

Love all of the platforms you can use this product with, good investment for my 35 mm, and other video outlets, mic is good overall, but you have to be right in front of your subject to get good sound, it is not going to pick up if you are interviewing a person without getting other background noise, but it is good for the other items. ... show more

    • Not professional grade
We purchased this for our GoPro. The LED light makes a high pitched sound when adjusted below the highest setting. Loud enough to be picked up by the mic. It also creates some kind of horizontal interference with the video image. I've seen this with other LED lighting, so I'm not blaming the light so much for the image distorting issue. However it shouldn't make any noise! The microphone didn't seem to make much of any difference with the DB gain off. With the 10 DB gain on, tons of background white noise. I did several video tests with mic off, on and gain on. Just isn't a match for our needs. The rig itself was nice but for the cost, I returned it all and purchased a rig, light and mic separately. ... show more

This is great if you are looking better audio quality in your videos but definitely do not buy this if you look for a steady grip or stabilizer.

It wasn’t what I expected! It’s better!!! I got this for my bf so he can stay his YouTube videos and he loves it! Comes with all that you need! The light has an option to use AA batteries or buy a rechargeable battery pack (which I’m planning on getting)
