I used this product to entertain my one year old son. The product is durable and age appropriate. My favorite thing about the product is that one of the rings also serves as a rattle which they love at this age.

This toy is perfect baby! It’s nice that it collapses but as you can see in the second photo you still want the rings to go somewhere so not sure it’s 100% needed as just the rings themselves will take up a lot of space. The idea is nice though maybe for traveling the collapsing feature would come in handy more. Makes for a great gift and is exactly as pictured. No issues collapsing or straightening the middle piece as seen in other reviews.

This review is for the MOVE2PLAY Stacking Toy (Color: Turtle). I received a free taxable sample of this stacker to review in my search for baby toys. The stacking toy arrived in a branded and decorated postal box that would be okay to use if you plan on gifting this item. Inside was the stacking toy comprised of a turtle-shaped base with a removable plastic shell and removable extensible plastic cone along with six differently sized and colored rings. The hard plastic turtle measures about 5" across and 7" from end to front. There is a circular base about 4 1/4" in diameter on the top surface of the turtle that fits the removable turtle shell and also has a smaller screw-in area for the extensible plastic cone. The extensible cone is 2" in diameter at its widest before tapering into a rounded flat surface at its tip. The cone when collapsed is approximately 3" in height and when extended is 6 1/4" in height with both measurements excluding the 1/2" screw-in portion on the bottom. There are six rings of different sizes and colors which must be placed in order from largest on bottom to smallest on top: large bumpy red ring with a 4" outer diameter and 2" inner diameter; a slightly smaller yellow ring with circular depressions; a medium-sized half-yellow half-clear ring with beads; a smaller yellow ring with bands; a small green ring with rounded segments; and a very small segmented blue ring with an outer diameter of 2" and 1 1/8" inner diameter. The rings are also dependent on the turtle shell being placed shell-side up at the bottom of the cone in order to sit flush next to each other. Total weight of the turtle, cone, and rings is 258 grams. The overall look and feel of this stacker turtle is small and somewhat cheap due to the mostly hard plastic parts. Our nine-month old was okay playing with some of the larger and softer plastic rings, but the stacker as a whole didn't capture their attention as much as a shape sorter. As a parent, I have reservations about the hard plastic parts including the cone and the clear beaded ring which I wonder if it'll become brittle or crack over time and under pressure. For the cone, I'm not sure what advantage being collapsible offers if you still have to separately secure the rings, the removable turtle shell, and the turtle itself. It does take a fair amount of force to collapse the cone, which might not mix well with the hard plastic construction and lead to breakage. Finally, the way the cone is constructed with four notches cut into each section also seems to be a drool entry point. All in all, the MOVE2PLAY stacking turtle is on the smaller side and has some harder to understand design choices such as the collapsible cone and hard plastic. I would recommend considering a dedicated giant-sized stacker or shape sorter from one of the mainstream companies. For the stacker, also consider one that would allow you to stack the rings in any order for more creative free play.

The best thing about this stacking toy is that all the parts are rattles and toys in themselves. It is well designed to not be too complicated and the rings are really easy for baby's hands to grip. The rings are perfect for teething on as well. They have designed it to collapse in so as to store it but I haven't had to use that yet. Love it!!
