good compatibility with my Garmin Edge 1050 !

  • Fair price and work fine with Wahoo but check screw length.
Size: for Wahoo / 4 Pcs
These are the type of pucks with a threaded insert so the screws go in from the bottom. This means you have to be sure to use screws that are the right length. Too short and you may not get enough thread engagement to safely keep the puck attached (tip: use blue thread lock) and too long and they'll interfere with your device attaching. There are (8) size M3 screws included - (4) 8 mm long and (4) 10 mm long. The pucks themselves are 8.25 x 32.8 mm - taller than most. The Kocevelo stem cap mount I have uses 6 mm screws and fortunately they are the same M3 size as these pucks use. The included 8 mm screws were too long. Maybe they should include M3 x 6 mm as well (and only (2) of each length?). The Wahoo version holds my Wahooo ELEMNT Bolt V1 just fine. It's a solid attachment but not annoying. I also noticed that my Garmin Edge 540 fits as well, just not quite as tightly due to the different in mount thickness. Seems like it will hold just fine but probably best to get the Garmin version for Garmin devices. Overall these are a fair price for (4) threaded Wahoo pucks that should work with most any computer mount that uses the threaded type pucks. Just be careful to check the screw length! ... show more

  • Will not work
Size: for Wahoo / 4 Pcs
This is designed for socket head screws. The screws take up space, and the Wahoo device won't fit. The design should have been made with flat head screws with the screw heads below the Wahoo mount.

  • Once you notice the difference...
Size: for Bryton / 4 Pcs
I have two different out-front mounts for my Bryton 460 GPS unit. Both cane with a "native" Bryton adapter, a molded nylon disk that fits in the head of the mount. Both of them are configured for a camera mount on the underside of the adapter, attaching with a pair of flat-head screws. The adapter is "dished" so that the screws sit flush with the adapter, allowing for mounting of the computer. I was nonplussed to see the cap-head screws that came with these Bryton adapters, thinking that the raised heads would prevent the computer from slotting into the adapter. That was before I realized that the screws are to be installed from underneath rather than the top of the mount. There's one advantage to this configuration: if you don't use a camera, you can use the short screws. Another advantage is that the fasteners screw into brass (or bass-looking) grommets rather than threaded plastic. As for disadvantages: 1) On both my other aftermarket mounts, the camera/headlight mount is threaded. I don't see this arrangement working, unless your camera mount isn't threaded: neither of mine is. 2) the exposed screw heads are "out of sight out of mind" and therefore have higher potential for loosening and even falling out. In summary; better for those who don't need a camera/headlight mount out front, but significant problems if you do. ... show more

  • Good for replacement or making your own mount
Size: for Garmin / 4 Pcs
To put it mildly, I'm not a fan of the mounts that come with the Garmin Varia radar taillight. I don't trust a cheesy rubber band doodad to keep this fairly pricey device secure on a bumpy road. When I saw these inserts I decided to make my own mount by adapting a rear reflector bracket. Only problem is that the mounting holes for the reflector are oriented vertically, but for the Varia they have to be horizontal (unless you want the light to be sideways). So I'll have to print or machine an adapter. Probably should have sprung for a purpose-built solid mount. There are many available. ... show more

  • fits my outfront mount for a Garmin head unit, but very tight
Size: for Garmin / 4 Pcs
It fits properly with the existing screws in my outfront mount (not a Garmin OEM if that matters), and my Edge 130+ fits into this insert with a firm click. But it is very tight/stiff and takes a lot more effort to engage/disengage. I've never had my Garmin come loose or fly off any of my quarter-turn mounts in many years and tens of thousands of miles of cycling, so I've never felt the need for a tighter holding mount. I hope this doesn't mean the leaf springs with these replacements are less flexible and perhaps thereby more prone to crack or break. In any case, I also always use the Edge 130+ tether to my handlebar so it'd take a double failure to have it come crashing to the ground on a ride. With these extras I should be set for a good looooooong time. ... show more

  • Perfect fit for my Gamin Varia
Size: for Garmin / 4 Pcs
In the winter I bring my bike inside and I don't ride outside because it's too cold and windy. But I still use my Garmin Varia every day when walking home from the train. It's pitch dark at 4pm in Chicago come Dec-Feb so I wanted a place to mount my Garmin Varia light/radar to my backpack, especially for those days I ride my electric scooter after dark. I plan on mounting these on my backpack or anywhere else I might want them. It's always a good idea to know who is coming up behind you on a scooter. I might even put one on the bike helmet I wear when riding the scooter. ... show more

  • Works fine with my Garmin mount
Size: for Garmin / 4 Pcs
I have a Garmin mount for my bicycle and the plastic attachment piece was starting to wear out. These replacement pieces fit nicely on the mount and were easy to install. I just unscrewed the old piece and installed one of these new ones in it's place. Fits the Garmin fine and I can't tell the difference from the original one. Nice way to extend the life of my mount. ... show more
