Description

The Sixer from Mountainsmith is an insulated, waterproof cooler perfectly sized for 6 bottles or 24 cans - anything you want post-hike, post-hunt, or even while fishing. Mountainsmith made the liner waterproof to prevent any leaks, and the large flip-top zipper opens wide for easy packing & unpacking. It has a stout grab handle inspired by climbing ropes, and the removable shoulder strap eases the carry to nearby fishing holes.

My original Sixer has a broken zipper and is no longer available, so I bought the updated version. It's completely different. The sides are thicker and more rigid, while the bottom is not, so when it arrives it's kind of flattened and an effort to shape it correctly. It's also very topheavy so it won't stand up when it's empty, making it strictly worse than the original for my purposes. I've returned it and am still searching for a replacement that's more like the original Sixer, while still using my old one with the broken zipper because it's still better than this thing. ... show more

Beautiful color combination (frost blue) and good quality. Haven't used it yet but I like it a lot. I wanted something tall to be able to put a couple bottles and food in. It seems to be well made which I don't mind spending a little more for.
