As with coffee, chocolates, teas and so many other things I am not very brand loyal. I’m always searching for new flavors and the elusive quest for the best. So it is with honey, a product that can range from pure ecstasy to barely palatable. You can’t trust ads or anyone else’s opinions on honey, you have to try it for yourself. So this is another random selection I made just to see what it’s like. And it’s pretty good. Unfortunately it doesn’t stand out as being superior in any way though Note that when they make the claim of being USDA certified organic there are no standards for USDA certified organic honey. They do not exist. There seems to be a lot of discussion in honey circles about that and why so much of our honey today is not from the U.S. but rather places like India and Brazil. I was not aware that this product is from Brazil (the info is there in the small print and played down on the product’s label) and I’m not sure if I would have chosen it or not if I knew. Honey lovers usually agree the best honey is directly from local producers. TRIVIA After you’ve read all the claims about which honey is the “best” there is one honey that is rarely included on any lists and that is because the honey itself is so rare it is almost never found for sale outside of the small village where it’s produced. It’s called Baskir honey and if you could buy it it would be the world’s most expensive. I have a friend who has sampled it at the source where it is hand produced in small batches only once a year and while I’ve never tasted it I understand it is indescribably delicious. Knowing the full story about this brand I would have been happier with it if it was more realistically priced at about half of what it goes for, so I can only say of it that I like (but not love) it.

My favorite number one honey... When they put it in glass. Now it's plastic and the lid is harder to close too. I liked it in glass because of the micro plastics in plastic and honey is a super absorbent. Taste yummy in coffee but even the taste is different now. I'll have to find a new one that's glass jars.

Many of my reviews are long and detailed. I will keep this one short. The flavor of the honey is very good. Consistency is satisfactory----not too thin or too thick. I would have rated it higher than a 3, but one of the primary reasons I ordered it is because they clearly stated that it comes in a glass jar. It's not glass. It's plastic. And the metal lid doesn't fit it well----hard to put the lid back on, cross threads, is too tight. For various reasons, I ordered this because I wanted glass. Claiming the jar is glass is either a lie or an oversight, and I'm certainly leaning toward lie because at this point, there is no reason why the listing should continue to claim the jar is glass. They apparently know that they are baiting people with that claim, which is right in the headline. I wish Amazon could do something to force deceptive advertisers to correct their ads or be banned from selling. This was/is a major disappointment to have received something not worth the price. If the seller is dishonest about what the container is made of, who's to say they aren't being dishonest about what's in the container? Avoid this.

This honey is wonderful and has a great taste. For the money, the value is great since it is a larger jar than others I have paid more for. It arrived quickly and was packaged in a box, that box was in a box and those 2 in an amazon box. Although it was so snuggly packed, I opened a gooey mess! the honey had leaked through the first 2 boxes but not the amazon box. The seal was unbroken so I just rinsed the jar and all was well. I will definitely reorder this honey. I'm sure the leak was a fluke since it was so snuggly packed. A great buy!

I bought this product two times. The quality of the product is excellent. But concerning about the packaging ,the first time it was excellent and the second time very poorly. The lid was distorted in shape and the product got leaked out. Almost 1/4 of the product lost.😞
