I remember these tasting like styrofoam as a kid. I bought a few of these for a fishing trip some months back, but never ate them. Decided to bring one to the deer stand tonight an was pleasenetly supprised with the quality and taste. will buy again.

I love Mountain House products that are suitable for long term storage and easy preparation by rehydration with boiling water. I also love Mint Cocolate Chip ice cream, which is my favorite flavor. But Mountain House has really mislead consumers on this product. Because it is not rehydrated, it tastes like stale chocolate cookies with a mint flavored packed powder in between. I would recommend foregoing this while camping, and having a great big bowl of REAL mint chocolate chip ice cream when you return home.
