Must have for hurricane prep. When the power goes out, the lights on the top automatically turn on. The speaker for the walkie is loud and easily adjusted on the top. I wish there were “less” buttons because I know my kids are going to start pressing things if I don’t lock the keys. Great combo of walkie-Talkie, NOAA radio, and FM radio. I love that it comes with a charging base so there is no excuse on where the walkies should be placed. It used a Micro USB so it would be good to have one of those kinds of cables kept with these. ... show more

Had a major mishap and it fell into a freezing lake. Which means I was going in too. Thankfully it was shallow enough I could see it but still water up to my neck. After completely opening it up and letting it dry in the sun for half a day, work just fine again.

A ton of cool features but it seemed very complicated to use. Not kid friendly at all! I returned the set. I ended up buying a different brand that were just rechargeable walkie talkies and without all of the bells and whistles.
