I've gone from iPhone to the Samsung Z Flip 4&5 to the Pixel Fold and Pixel 9 Pro Fold and have settled on the fact that the Razr Ultra 2025 is currently the best foldable smartphone widely available on the market. The folpding open/close is seamless, it folds open flat, feels very secure when opened and closed, I can tell the hinge has been improved upon compared to other similar devices. The interior crease, while still present and visible, is the LEAST visible I have seen/felt when using the phone while the screen is open. I am impressed with the amount of things I'm able to do on the exterior screen, such as setting a widgets panel to make locking/unlocking my car or starting the AC without having to completely open the phone. There are so many settings to tweak and adjust to your liking, but one thing I'm happy to report is that the AI features are able to be completely turned off and ignored. I use Gemini for basic phone controls/Google Home, but nothing more on my phone, and I'm happy that way. Oh, also, the Turbo Charging is a godsend--I can get half my battery back in ~20 minutes of charging. If you're on the fence, trust my experience with foldables--I'm in love with mine! ... show more

The razr doesn't send notifications when the phone is closed. For example, if someone calls or messages on Instagram, you won't get a notification unless you have Instagram on and open. This is a known issue with hundreds of posts on Reddit. The only fix currently requires rooting the phone, which is not realistic for 99 percent of users. ... show more

Full disclosure I am returning the phone. But it is not because it is bad or defective. In fact it’s a very cool phone. However, I don’t think I am a flip phone person anymore. The build quality is very high. The flip action is smooth. I have small hands and I needed two hands to open and close the phone. It is a compact size when closed but when open it was too large for what I was looking for. I am switching from years of iPhone back to android for a bit and I want a small phone. I thought I would use the front screen more often but instead it was just for an occasional text reply. Motorola is garbage, and im not talking about the phones. I bought a new 23 Razer from att , it didnt last 30 days and when i contacted Motorola they said the warranty was out . Att said it came with 1 year warranty from manufacturer and the manufacturer said it didnt have a warranty when it was sold to me new in box. Now im stuck paying $700 for a phone i didn't get to use for 3 weeks . Its been 4 months and i still done have a cell phone bc of this crap. The phone was beautiful at first but its garbage sitting in a kitchen drawer waiting to be trashed once its paid off. ... show more

There's a lot to like about this razor ultra but I got to be honest I just couldn't accept the $1,300 price and the only 3 years of updates. And hearing how bad the customer service for Motorola is so bad add those all up and that means got to return it.
