It's the phone I was waiting for ever since feature-phone foldables and original Razr. Sure it squeaks when opening, doesn't have active dual sim support (there is an eSim option besides a physical sim), there's no wireless charging, or top processor and 24 cameras on it... BUT, I rarely use the camera, only for photographing something in a store for a later purchase, things like that, and the simple fact of foldability, makes it s9 compact it fits into a front shirt pocket - very useful during the summer. Outer screen is great, half the time I use it, for messages, emails, notifications, music, calls. Battery actually lasts TWO days easily, if you don't use it much, three, like in the 'good old days'. And design is excellent, not just stupidly bent in half, like Samsung's Flip (and I did use Samsung for the past 14 years). I got the gold matte version, but thinking of getting another, maybe silver, if there's no new model coming. P.S. I've dropped it twice, first time hitting a metal shopping cart and falling to granite floor, second onto street brick - nothing broke or cracked, just some scratches. Past 'regular' phones I dropped like that, Note 3, etc, cracked the glass screen immediately. ... show more

I originally bought the Razr verizon unlocked as a temp while my iphone was in repair. Fell in love with it so much I came on here and bought this one. I get it's not as 'cool' as samsung or iphone but let me tell ya. I can get the battery life to last all day. How? Turn off unnecessary notifications per app, disable apps' background usage. and what apps you don't plan on using. disable them... Battery will last a long time. What my iphone struggles with. This phone can do and more. Wifi is fast, data is fast. the handoff between cellular to wifi and back is almost seamless Yes it gets hot like a phone does. I do live streaming with it. and it never slows down, or dimms out. like apple tends too. All in all. I ditched my iphone for this phone because it just works 100% of the time ... show more

Likes: I like that it is a flip phone with moderate to high end specs. Secondary screen is nice. Battet life isn't terrible. I like that the external display can help you take a good selfie with the main camera I like that it hardly ever seemed slow or laggy Dislikes: -this phone appears to uses elements of ATT software update which has rendered my hotspot feature unusable on my ATT mvno. After upgrading to Android 12 from 11 and a factory reset, the phone claims that it is checking my subscription and disallows hotspot even though my carrier allows it and other phones in my possession allow the hotspot -phone is fragile; phone case is a must and ok boy recommend carrying it closed while in a case. It looks 2 years old with primarily using it at home, during the pandemic... -no 3.5mm jack -cant use USB C for external monitor (may work for USB C to HDMI but I doubt it) -no wireless charging ... show more

I’m a little on the sideline on this Razr 5G. Screen display is excellent, battery life is pretty good and really light weight to carry. It’s a really thin flip phone. In a way, (for me) a little difficult to open while being slippery to hold on too. Get a good case for a little more handling. The touch screen is very good and responsive. The fingerprint sensor placement is on the back of the phone rather than on the screen or the side for operation. A little cumbersome to use one handed (depending on the size of your grip) due to the phones size and thickness. One big thing is the battery temperature. During phone calls and app running, the battery will get up to 46 degrees C and is very warm to hold. One concern for me is the durability of the screen. From my research, you might get about 2 years of open and closing the phone assuming 30 times a day of usage. (17,000 Open/Close). Would I buy it again if I knew…. Probably not at current the price tag. ... show more
