I got this phone as a backup phone for a string of constant phones getting demolished prematurely. This is a very cheap and very usable phone. I did test drive it for weeks and can say this can be daily phone if needed. I got a folding cover case to upscale the phone and make it travel friendly. It is light and grip is exceptional. the durability is not top knotch but for the price this is easily overlooked. and phone OS usage is simple and straight forward. overall this is definately a goto if you need a phone and got no money in a hurry. this is get it quick and gets the job done. ... show more

I am impressed by how long the battery lasts, I can get about a day out of it if I do heavy use which includes gaming and hours of video but I'm pretty sure I could get two days if I did normal use, the quality of the phone feels kind of nice but I did put it in a case to protect it because of where I work, what few pictures I have taken with it have come out pretty good so I would say the cameras got some good quality to it and the screen does show a lot of details, I would definitely say this phone is worth the money, at $180 it's a decent quality phone, it's got all the functions I need from a phone and more, it's got plenty of storage capacity that can be upgraded if you need it, screen quality is good, app loading speeds are good, it's a little heavier than my last phone but I actually kind of like that ... show more

I received this yesterday and have tried it out for nearly 24 hours now. I will be using this as a back up phone. The pluses. Nice big clear and bright screen. I like the case and the color. It looks and feel quite decent, Good, responsive touchscreen with good colors. Good wifi and bluetooth. On screen keyboard is also easy to use. Large battery, I charged it to 100 % last night and its still at 70% Good sound quality and fairly loud speakers. Negatives. There is some lag but that is in comparison to my “high end” main phone but I consider it to be more than acceptable. The cameras have great colors are appear to be over processed. If this was for use as my main shooter, it would not be acceptable but for the bargain price, and considering that this is budget phone, both front and rear cameras will suffice. Not too keen on the side finger print reader, it does work and actually responds quite fast, I don’t care for the location. So as a budget back up phone, there are some negatives but I can live with them all. Not; the first two photos were taken with the rear came at high resolution. The third was taken with the front facing camera. The last two were taken indoors in a restaurant setting on high resolution. I quite like this phone. I had been considering a 5 year old phone for a back up…. It still had really good specs but I was concerned about the battery and how much longer it would work. Also there would not be any security updates on an older phone but this is from 2024 and has already done several updates since I first powered it on, and it is due to be upgraded to Android 14 later this summer. ( I mention this because there are surely other folks looking for a budget back up phone.) Also, since I don’t play any games, I cant offer any opinions in that respect. Great phone I still have it working. Battery life is still as new purchase. Perfect size screen and easy to manage. So far this android phone been great, doesn't heat up, and perfect photos, it's my carry on computer, great for games and compatible with other apps. I recommend this phone.

I must say I truly don't understand the need to spend hundreds of dollars for a smartphone when this budget phone has tricks and treats that others do not. First of all the screen size is larger than most. The speed is great...the battery is way better than other high priced phones. The overall quality is impressive. I'm trying to find something negative about this phone and nothing immediately comes to mind. I'm very pleased that I read others reviews and joined the party. Do not spend more than you should. My kid had a Motorola Moto G7 that was purchased in 2019. It was dependable and had a great battery life. Then it accidentally got dropped into the ocean this year. We replaced it with this one, so I can't speak to anything long-term yet. Like many cell phone manufacturers, Motorola added some apps that I manually removed like Block Blast, Temu, and Monopoly. For some reason, Block Blast tried to reinstall itself which was annoying. More importantly, I had incorrectly assumed that since it was a newer phone, it'd have eSIM capability, but it does not. (My older phone from another manufacturer does have eSIM.) This meant not having a working phone number (and no texting) for a few more days until we could get a physical SIM card from our cell phone carrier. I didn't mind the extended phone break. But had I known that this phone doesn't have eSIM, I would not have bought it. I still probably would've chosen a Motorola phone based on prior experience and because it's a good budget option, but again not this particular one. ... show more
