My phone arrived in exceptional condition, and I was happy with my purchase. I don't scoff at the term "refurbished" simply because many times people go through electronics like a pair of seasonal clothing; it doesn't mean it's ruined, but I suppose they're concerned about "appearance" or something similarly superficial. Nevertheless, I'm not really familiar with Motorola's Smartphones, but my Cellular Provider offered me a third cell line for absolutely no charge (for my 10 years as a loyal customer) and since I don't have a backup phone and don't like putting myself into debt, I was simply looking for a great deal on an older phone comparable to what I use as my main phone (a Samsung S21 Galaxy Ultra.) I would have loved to just have bought another one of those phones, but stimulus money paid for it outright back then, and I can't justify spending upwards of $400+ on something that old - - that's where this little gem of a phone came into play. Granted, I'm not making a direct comparison between both phones as far as specifications go, but I'm saying that for a phone that cost me less than $150 cash, the value is here. As one reviewer stated, as of March 2025, the phone will update to Android 14,and that's more than fine with me. The performance is decent, the size of the screen is wonderful, and the phone displays very vibrant colors. The cameras, and the default Motorola app for them, has surprising-good quality. I wish I could rate it 4.75 Stars, to be honest, as I'm only taking off a quarter of a star because I'm nitpicking that the charger that came with my refurbished phone isn't a "super fast" one; though the phone is capable of utilizing one. It's really not a huge additional cost if that's important to you, but I thought I'd mention it. The description reads it comes with a cord, charger, and the phone, and that's exactly what I paid for. No dings, scratches, scuffs, or chips on the glass (or on the body) of my phone, by the way. In closing, I just wanted to mention that the "bloatware" isn't too difficult to remove (and that's usually more of an issue with your Carrier bastardizing Android to suit their own needs) and that the fingerprint reader is nicely hidden (my S20 Ultra had some stupid etching/frosting on the glass to show where to place your finger) and that I get a kick out of the fact that it lights up when you place a finger over the sensor. I ordered the black color phone. There's biometery locks as well as pin and facial recognition locks. Screen size is just right. The sound quality is perfect. Horrible customer service, zero care for the customer. Paid for 2 day shipping 5 days later nothing. This company is the reason some people don't order online. Do us a favor and go out of business. The phone itself is very good, camera seems solid and the screen is phenomenal. The only thing is the phone feels cheaply made so definitely buy a case. But overall for what I paid very good phone. I brought the moto edge - 2022 (unlocked) back in January 2025 to replace my LG V20. I was able to put in my Verizon 4G LTE SIM card and it worked immediately. It runs great. It was refurbished, had a couple of scratches towards the top of phone, barely noticeable though. The phone came in great condition. As of July 2025, the moto edge - 2022 [unlocked) received Android 15 (I was surprised). My experience with the moto edge - 2022 has been great. Worth checking out. I paid $90 for it.. ... show more

As what another poster suggested. I turned the refresh rate down to 60hz and turned on the battery saver, and now get 5-6days battery life. Yes most days I have 10-20 calls, averaging 10mins each, with some internet searches. Lots of texts, and looking up weather radar 5-10daily. The fingerprint unlock works fast. The phone overall snaps fast on app launching, calls, texts, etc. And the display is real bright. I have it turned down to 60% and it's still bright, especially at night. The phone I received is in excellent shape, no scratches, or nicks. It looked brand new. So the seller is right on! I'd buy again from him. Thanks. ... show more

Exactly as described in "excellent" LIKE NEW condition (T-Mobile). The phone was updated to Android 14 with no problem and to the latest security updates. Motorola does not provide updates as long as other manufacturers, but so far, so good, and I'm very pleased! Very fair price for a very good mid-range phone that is now approaching 3 years old! ... With the Android 14 update comes an upgraded Moto 3 Camera software that is - in my opinion - OUTSTANDING! This is an awesome replacement or backup phone. ... show more

Husband bought it for me and I hate it don't waste your money on it. The lock fingerprint sensor doesn't work anymore. The brightness is good. Value of it sucks. Screen size it ok. Sound quality is also ok. Battery life is ok. Phone quality sucks.
