  • A Motorola cell phone, with Flagship specs at a rock bottom price.
Color: Urban Grey
What can I say about this phone? The entire experience of purchasing this phone from Amazon was absolutely a five-star experience. I placed my order for the phone about 3:00 in the morning, and it was delivered by 1:00 p.m. that same day. When I received the phone it was completely sealed and plastic and the box was also sealed with the tape on the bottom. There was absolutely no handling of this phone since it was shipped from the factory. When I received the phone I was so excited to use it, I immediately ripped open the plastic open the box took the phone out popped my US Mobile SIM card into the SIM card slot one, and without having to notify my service provider of the change of device, us mobile service was immediately recognized and usable as soon as I popped in the SIM card. The phone is thin, it's light, it is a bit slippery but it's an absolutely terrific cell phone for $217 or whatever I paid for it. This phone is completely affordable, it is definitely one of the higher-end Motorola cell phones. I've been purchasing Motorola cell phones for about 5 years almost exclusively and this is by far the best Motorola cell phone I've ever owned. I am more than happy with this purchase, I'm more than happy with this device and I intend to have it for a very long time and use it until it's no longer supported. But at that point I'm just going to flash a custom rom and keep up on the updates myself. Like I said this phone is absolutely a five-star Motorola cell phone. If you're a Motorola purchaser or user, definitely by the Motorola g85 5G cell phone. 256 GB of internal storage with 12 GB of RAM is absolutely a game changer as far as Motorola cell phones go. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Definitely buy this phone you'll be doing yourself a great service. ... show more

  • Good Phone! 1 Wish...
Color: Urban Grey
For when I had it, the speed, cellular connectivity (TMobile in the US), functionality, weight, brightness, and value were perfect for my budget. Its 12GBs of onboard RAM (24 with RAM boost) was going to be amazing for a long while into the future with my use case. However, what killed it for me was the lack of a onboard 3.5mm audio port. I still use wired 3.5mm monitors that work just fine and with no fuss. I even picked up a Fiio BTR11 to try to make the switch to a Bluetooth only phone. But, the problems inherit to Bluetooth remain. Pairing and reconnecting the two Bluetooth devices takes a bit, not the biggest gripe but it is a negative I noticed with this phone. The big one for me was the constant Codec switching that was out of my control, unless I did a lot of reconnecting and developer-mode fiddling. The Phone and my BTR11 often paired and stubbornly stuck to the SBC Codec for Bluetooth, rather than the LDAC Codec; or anything else that was better than SBC. I wish it had an onboard 3.5mm audio port, rather than needing an adapter. But, if you can stomach it (or they put in a better system to switch between Bluetooth Codecs later), this is a solid phone for the price otherwise. ... show more

  • Suspicious phone, quite disappointing
Color: Urban Grey
I wasn't sent a "retail" phone. I bought two phones, bought two weeks apart, and both are on software channel "TELEU". It should be RETAIL, RETsomething ot OPENsomething. One came with an European charger, one with an UK charger. What the.... ? the european plug is pretty common here, so no problem, but the UK one... sure that's useful on a phone bought on Amazon US and sent to Argentina...oh, wait, they came with a plug adapter, to the US plug... the crappiest one i've ever seen... I guess it should be OK then... (/sarcasm). One phone is Dual SIM, as in two physical SIMs, and the other one is one SIM and one eSIM. Where do you source these phones from? Are they leftovers from somewhere? As for the phone, it's not a Motorola as Motorola used to be. I feel i just got crappy generic phone, loaded with crappy apps (facebook, tiktok, linkedin, and some of the most useless crappy games you can imagine). It's my 4th moto G series phone in a row, and I don't know what my next phone is going to be (in a long time, I hope, unless i end up smashing it with a hammer), but I already know it won't be a Motorola anymore. ... show more

Ordered 2 of these, the item description which says 1 sim and 1eSim however the units arrived with 2 physical sims and no eSim. If you need an eSim, this option is not supported.
