Great bag! Love the straps for mounting it to a motorcycle. Made it very easy to take on and off. The bag by itself is water resistant, especially if you treat it with a spray. But the rain cover makes it a bit better. Definitely spray it before you need it as the water repellency isn't the greatest. The bag has some good pockets and storage. Love that you can expand it and get more room. Very premium bag for the price.

OK, I have the unique experience of ordering and receiving both this bag and the one made by Rhinowalk, so I can do a direct comparison. If you were like me, you are trying to figure out which one to order. The answer is clear - get this one. It is superior in almost every single way. I had ordered and received the one from Rhinowalk first, because it had more reviews. This bag is unquestionably heavier duty, it weighs more (which may be a con to some people), and it has quality zippers that move smoothly and freely. The bag's build quality and construction are just superb, and the fabric/material is just awesome. This bag makes the Rhino feel like a poor quality knock-off. When I received the Rhino bag, the zippers felt like cheap junk, and it arrived with manufacturing defects where the teeth were bound up and tangled in the fabric that they're connected to. When you tried to use the zipper, it would catch where the teeth were screwed up, resulting in a jam and zipper teeth that didn't interlace properly. What bothered me the most is that this is like super basic QC (quality control), and clearly they had no issues sending out a bag with obvious defects. The one area where the Rhino bag is better is that the attaching straps have a cool little locking mechanism to crimp down the straps and prevent them from loosening. Aside from that, the IRON bag is superior in every other way. There is just one weird con that I noticed and had seen in some other reviews. I have no idea why, but when I got the IRON bag out of the plastic that it was encased in, it did indeed smell like it had been sitting in a bar where smoking is allowed. It's just so strange. So yeah, it had a faint odor of cigarette smoke. It makes me wonder if the shipment of bags got handled and stored by some warehouse where the workers are allowed to smoke. For me, it's not a big deal. The scent isn't overpowering, and I just set it outside to air out and gave it a rubdown with some fabric softener dryer sheets. Then I chucked a couple of them in the main storage section and in the side pockets. Problem solved. If you're looking for a quality, well built tail bag for your motorcycle adventures, get this one, not the Rhino.

This is a well-designed product and attaches securely to my bike. I did need to return my initial purchase because it had a D ring where it should have had a male plastic buckle. Amazon replaced it right away and the new one is perfect. I have ridden over 200 miles with it attached and don't notice it is there. Great product for the price.

This is a superior bad to most of the ones on the market. Very high quality material and is built extremely well. Very rugged but yet lightweight. It expands easily, it functions exactly as it should. It's a great value for what you're getting. This thing is absolutely waterproof and fits perfectly on the back of my bike, it is extremely durable and will hold up to years of use. My only complaint is that it is a bit difficult to mount, other than that this thing is awesome
