My head size was 24 inches above the eyebrows and above the ears, at the widest section of my head (as measured by someone else). This correlates to an XL size helmet, but at the smaller end of the size range. This helmet is very slightly loose until I tighten the strap all the way, then the helmet moves along with my skin, indicating a perfect fit. In other words, have someone else measure your head, and order the correct size and you should be fine. Now for the Pros and Cons! Pros: 1. Visor is very clear 2. Helmet feels very solid 3. Knob to flip the sun-shade visor is sturdy 4. Vents are easy to move and open 5. Clear visor has a nice lift-tab on the bottom left 6. Front face of the helmet picks all the way up, which makes everything easier to hear (ie: MSF course instructor) 7. Material isn't that bad to wear 8. Vents do a good job keeping the visor from fogging. Not perfect, but good. Neutrals 1. Heavy like every helmet Cons 1. Hard to find switches initially by feel 2. Switch to lift up chin section is hard to use and located in a hidden spot under the chin 3. Straps would be better if they were velcro or ratchet style ... show more

My husband was in an accident on his motorcycle. He hydroplaned going 70MPH down the Highway here in Texas. The 1st thing to hit the ground was the back of his head. He rolled over and slid down the highway into the grass on the side of the highway with his face skidding down the highway the rest of the way. See the attached photos. Had he not been wearing this helmet, he would have lost his life. This Helmet held up during a full on head impact onto the HIGHWAY GOING 70MPH and it did not shatter, break open or give out. Ok so to be far I ordered this helmet and it was everything the positive reviews said. It was light, and I loved the convenience of being able to keep my helmet on when I went to places like the gas station or even at stop lights when I wanted to flip the lid up to get some better air. I had the helmet for some months with no major use and one day my helmet straps began to unravel into a mess. I contacted the company about my issue and they politely and quickly got me out a new helmet. Thank you guys for great customer service and backing your product. Time will tell how well built this helmet is, but I am initially impressed. Compared to my $600 name brand Snell rated helmet, I can see the difference in quality. However, it's not completely lack luster. It's a bit short in the back but my sides and front are completely covered. May take some getting used to. It's loud. I can hear everything. That may not be a bad thing though. It's a bit light weight, which makes me worry about effective protection... But it's designed to protect against one hard fall, which I think it would. Pros: Visor and sun shade work well. Looks like a fighter pilot helmet. Comfortable after figuring out a system for putting on and taking off. Everything works as it should. I'll update my review after this season. If I get two years out of the helmet I will be very happy. Can't beat the price. Quality is acceptable. This comes from someone who had always spent extra for Snell rating. ... show more

Thanks to the measurement chart in the advertisement, that my order fits my spouse perfectly. It was one of the motorcycle riding items that were a Christmas gift. She likes the color as well. She had no problem with the instructions either.

Fits awesome (make SURE to measure your head and use the sizing chart; if I'd gone with my size in a different helmet, I would have ordered one that was too big), latch for the modular face part works smoothly, integrated sun shield is great for morning commutes where it's not bright enough for sunglasses but the sun peaks out from some areas and you need a quick barrier so you can see, and the strap quick latch is a GODSEND for when you need to take your helmet off or put it back on while wearing gloves! ... show more
