Bought the ratchet version and it does double duty: Works on my helmet with ratchet straps by plugging into the helmet's straps, and it works on my full face helmets with D rings by being plugged into itself, forming a loop through the chin strap.

This strap works great. Simple, effective design. Ive used different methods to carry a motorcycle helmet, running my arm through a full face and resting it on forearm, attaching carabiner and long keychain to attach it to belt loop or belt or attaching carabiner/keychain to a backpack/sling bag. This is by far the best way to carry a helmet besides a specific helmet backpack. Helmet will not swing like it does when attached to key chain/carabiner and you will not risk tear backpack straps. Def makes it very convenient and practical, esp if you have a high end helmet. For $20 i think its a little bit pricey and you can always use a long duffel bag type strap for same effect. But the ez go is well made, is padded and very comfortable. def pays for itself ... show more

This is a great product and makes it so much easier to have my hands free when carrying my helmet around. I gave it 3 stars though because it isn't a completely tight fit on my helmet strap buckles. Once when I placed my gloves inside the helmet while wearing the EZ GO, it came apart and my helmet took a nasty fall to the pavement. Have some deep scratches on both the helmet and visor now. I still use the EZ GO often and overall am happy with it, I'm just very gentle with it now. ... show more

This thing comes in handy being I don’t have a sissy bar on my bike. As long as you have a quick release helmet you just hook it and go. It is a little long for me being I’m a little guy but I sewed it up and it works fine. People are always asking where I got it. I will say be careful if you ride a bagger and your helmet hangs low, mine did and it rubbed a place on top of my bags on a ride. #pissed ... show more

Such a pain to travel with a helmet but with this I have the free hand to do things like go through airport security and take a phone call. Really a great product. Well made. Well supported and well design. Get one... or more and do it now.

It does what you expect. The strap is long if you are a very slim lady. Me at as a man at 180 lbs the helmet sits on my side or my back with the bottom of the helmet holding itself in place. But for my girlfriend at 120 lbs the helmet doesn't sit flat the same way, it hangs with the bottom facing up. I move it so the helmet sits on her lower back to be out of the way when we walk and it seems fine but the helmet will likely get scratched up since the painted side is against her rather than the bottom of the helmet like in the pictures. The strap is adjustable but doesn't adjust to be short enough to snug up the helmet placement on her. ... show more
