I wanted this tire changer to keep me from working off the ground, as I have done for many years. I decided after putting the parts together to bolt it to my garage floor. I installed 1/2 in. concrete anchors, but would have been easier if I had used 3/8 instead. The 1/2 anchors will need to be carefully placed since there is no room for error as the concrete drill bit may wander somewhat. Once installed, I had a stable platform to install new tires on my motorcycle project. The 16 in. rims held nicely in the clamps . The supplied tools could not be used for my application, but my DR. Rock tire tools were perfect for the job. I would think the supplied tools would be fine for a car tire, but in my experience they were a bit too big to benefit. Overall the manual tire changer worked as designed and provided a nice addition to my garage shop. It did save money as a alternative to the more expensive tire machines being offered today. No regrets in buying it. It is Nice !

Amazing tire changer. Set up is easy. It has to be secured to the floor, as attempting to apply the force needed to rotate the tool to remove the tire moves the whole unit. Easily secured with concrete bolts or secured to a trailer for mobile use.

Worked amazing for breaking the bead. Worked good for getting the old tire off. Didn’t work so well for getting the new tire on. I’m sure it would’ve been better if it was holder down, but I don’t have a good spot to boot something into the ground. That said, I believe putting the tire back on is the easiest, so it’s fine Used for a ATV tire btw

This is a well built item and for the price of a couple of tire changes, it's well worth it. If you are the person that takes pride in doing things yourself, having the tools makes it all so much better. I did a tire change without this item and it was quite the workout and my rim didnt fair so well. Having the proper tools is a must for the DIY'er and this should make the next one a whole lot easier. I was worried that at such a cheap price, I was going to get a flimsy tool but, not the case. Seems very sturdy and well built. The welds are all decent and it came with no damage. Overall, I would say this is a high value item.

Worked out really good changing my ATV tires. There's one thing that could be redesigned and that's the little piece of angle iron that is on the bead breaker platform, you have to be careful on it will scratch your rims. Other than that it worked great.

Good little manual machine. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the clamps are little flimsy and it's tough to lock the rim down 100% have to adjust as your using it.
