  • Not OE but perfectly functional
Let's be clear, these are not OE Keihins. But, I installed them and the bike started and runs... a bit more tuning is needed, and maybe smaller jets as they're running pretty rich, but for the price I can't complain much. OE carbs are over $1k and these were less than 10% of that. My biggest complaint is there's no bracket for the idle speed adjustment, and the brackets for the throttle cables need a bit of tweaking to hold the bottom nut on each cable correctly. For the price, I can put in the work to fix those minor issues. Edit: I would recommend buying a couple jet kits with this; I'm not sure what jets are in it, but in the box there's a little bag that had a 120 and a 125 jet; I have no idea why someone would want to change just one, and I haven't pulled the bowls to see what's in it from the factory (yet). I'd still buy these carbs (and might buy a second pair for another bike), but understand that you might need to spend an extra $20 and some labor time to get it just right. While you're at it do yourself a favor and replace the Phillips (or JIS?) screws with socket cap screws - M4x14 on the bottom, M4x16 with a split ring lock washer on the top (if you're trying to stay with OE lengths). I think there's plenty of room for M4x16s on the bottom if you want them. You'll thank yourself if you have to take them apart in 8 years to clean them. ... show more

  • Great Carburetor for the price
I ordered this from Amazon. It arrived in 2 days. It bolted right up. Got it installed and it would not fill the float bowls. Had to take it back off and free up the float valves. Reinstalled it on the bike and the bike started right up and runs amazing. No adjustments were needed after install. Even the idler was set perfectly. I do suggest that you make sure you can blow through the fuel inlet tube before installing just in case you have the same issue I had. I wish I had done that but never have had to in the past. just a fluke I'm sure. I would check it just to be sure though. It is a great carb for the price!! ... show more

  • wont work out of the box, must re-jet and check for holes in the float.
Took me ~8-10 tries to get this thing working which is a wicked pain with this bike. MOTOKU Carburetor for Kawasaki Ninja 250R EX250F 1988-2007 Jetted wrong for a 2007 EX250 / 250R. Came with ~85 jet, bike ran poorly and was so lean it could have caused damage. I had to change out the main jet to a 110 and the pilot jet up to a 40. I also had to run a small o ring on the needle to get rid of snap throttle bog. One of the floats had a pin hole so it was filled with gas the first time I opened it up. The 20 year old OEM float was in better shape. Cheap, will work with mods. ... show more

  • Wrong jets for 2005 ninja 250, runs great with correct size.
It runs great, but for a 2005 ninja 250, it comes with the wrong size jets. Ran horribly until I carried my old Jets to this new carburator.

  • cheap and easy
More or less echoing what others have said. They fit right and are a near perfect copy of the originals. They lack the bracket to hold the idle speed nob, but i don't think it is a big deal. The problem is the factory jetting. Some seem to run out of the box, some are rich, mine were super lean. Do yourself a favor and get a jet / needle kit to go with it. ... show more

  • Great replacement
Didn't do anything but install it and she fired up and runs good. I will have to install bigger jets but that's over upgrades. Would definitely buy it again.

  • Works like a charm right out of the box
This was a hard to find carb but it worked awesome! I took it out of the box, didn't adjust anything, slapped it on and the bike fired right up. 10/10 would buy again!

  • Cheap but not cheaply made
This fits a 2011 ninja 250r as well saved me a ton of bread.! I’ve only used it one summer so far tho so not sure how it will fair through winter but for the price I’d just throw it in the trash and buy another one if needed
