Up until 4 years ago, I used Android, but AT&T offered me a "Customer Loyalty" deal for $50.00 a month and an iphone for .99 every two years. I'm glad I tried it, but the iPhone was too finicky, and lord help you should you lock yourself out. I now have a plan with another company which has unlimited everything; talk, data, wireless etc, all free for life. As the iPhone was paid off, I did an early termination with AT&T and switched back Android and Motorola. Motorola had always been a favorite of mine, and was thrilled when I could buy an unlocked Moto stylus 2021. I've always wanted one but either unlocked or as part of a plan were out my reach. I bought this on Amazon for an excellent price. All I had to do was put in the new SIM card and I was off and running. This phone is packed with features you can actually use right away instead of having to seek out and unbury them like the iPhone. While this is a big phone with an almost 7" screen it's comfortable to hold even with a heavy duty case. Overall more than pleased, but there are a few caveats you should be aware of. Face recognition is very spotty and have tried several times to redo it, but always with the same lackluster results. Gave up on it and use the fingerprint unlock instead, though because of it's placement by the power key tends to throw it off sometimes. 2 Day Battery life. Are we talking about 24 hour days x 2 or 2 twelve hour days with actual phone use? There is simply NO way you'll be getting anywhere near 48 hours (even factoring in sleep, downtime etc.) Battery life is very good; I can get a 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M (14 hours +-) with fairly heavy use, but you better be sure you charge it overnight. Out of habit I carry a 20,000 power pack in my laptop case, or a slim "It will get you through" in my suit jacket pocket. As I told a friend of mine "Any phone can claim a 2 or even 3 day battery life... Provided you don't turn it on much or actually use it for what you bought it for." It's a very good phone, feature packed with a big enough, but not too cumbersome screen and more than adequate battery life. Just not 2 days worth. Order arrived early, in original packaging and well packed for transportation. I do employ some of the power saving features such as power save @ 50% and black screen when practical. As a customer who purchased the Motorola Moto G Stylus 2021, I can say that overall, this smartphone is a great value for the price. The 2-day battery life is a big pro, as it's convenient for those who are on-the-go and don't want to constantly charge their phone. The 4/128GB memory capacity also allows for plenty of storage for all your apps, photos, and files. The 48MP camera is another huge pro, as it takes clear and vibrant photos. The stylus feature is also a nice touch, and can be useful for taking notes or drawing on the screen. I appreciated that the phone is unlocked and made for use in the US, which adds to its versatility and flexibility. However, there are a few cons to note. One is that the phone's overall performance can be sluggish at times, especially with multiple apps open. The phone's design is also somewhat bulky and outdated, which may not appeal to some users who prefer a sleeker, more modern design. I just needed to upgrade my phone. I used to have a moto g7 plus and it was starting to freeze, glitch, and was lacking storage space. I deleted hundreds of media files, pictures, apps, and backed up downloads, but no matter my efforts, my phone was still low on storage. It also said that my phone was susceptible to viruses (like every piece of technology is) so I downloaded an anti-virus software, a VPN, and a number of other apps that had reviews promising to fix the problem, but it didn't do anything for me. An upgrade was my last option. This newer moto is so much better! It includes a stylus, a better camera, more storage space, and it accepts the sim card from my previous moto so it was a steal. I'm still waiting on the case, but I got the camera and screen protector and they work like a charm. Everything was included and I was able to transfer all of my apps, backgrounds, and backed up photos and contacts from my last phone without any trouble. I still have to sign into everything and remember passwords, but luckily I found a notepad app that backed up all my passwords to the cloud so that isn't a problem either. I'm still waiting to see if the 2 day battery holds up. So far from what I've seen, the battery drains pretty fast. It goes down about 2% every 5 minutes. I haven't charged the phone since I unpackaged it, but the rate that the battery is draining isn't very promising. Despite that one minor setback, the phone is great and has worked perfectly for everything else. It's so much more refreshing to have a phone that will take pictures without glitching and deleting them or can open websites without completely exiting google and sending me to my home screen. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. I hope this phone has a couple of years in it so I don't have to upgrade again any time soon. Edit: the phone goes through a software update every single night and I have to restart it every single morning. I thought I would wait to see if it only updated because of all the new sign ins and media I had to add, but it hasn't stopped. I'm not too unhappy because updates aren't bad, it's just getting frustrating having to constantly restart the phone and wait for the update to finish before I can use my phone for the day.
