Up until 4 years ago, I used Android, but AT&T offered me a "Customer Loyalty" deal for $50.00 a month and an iphone for .99 every two years. I'm glad I tried it, but the iPhone was too finicky, and lord help you should you lock yourself out. I now have a plan with another company which has unlimited everything; talk, data, wireless etc, all free for life. As the iPhone was paid off, I did an early termination with AT&T and switched back Android and Motorola. Motorola had always been a favorite of mine, and was thrilled when I could buy an unlocked Moto stylus 2021. I've always wanted one but either unlocked or as part of a plan were out my reach. I bought this on Amazon for an excellent price. All I had to do was put in the new SIM card and I was off and running. This phone is packed with features you can actually use right away instead of having to seek out and unbury them like the iPhone. While this is a big phone with an almost 7" screen it's comfortable to hold even with a heavy duty case. Overall more than pleased, but there are a few caveats you should be aware of. Face recognition is very spotty and have tried several times to redo it, but always with the same lackluster results. Gave up on it and use the fingerprint unlock instead, though because of it's placement by the power key tends to throw it off sometimes. 2 Day Battery life. Are we talking about 24 hour days x 2 or 2 twelve hour days with actual phone use? There is simply NO way you'll be getting anywhere near 48 hours (even factoring in sleep, downtime etc.) Battery life is very good; I can get a 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M (14 hours +-) with fairly heavy use, but you better be sure you charge it overnight. Out of habit I carry a 20,000 power pack in my laptop case, or a slim "It will get you through" in my suit jacket pocket. As I told a friend of mine "Any phone can claim a 2 or even 3 day battery life... Provided you don't turn it on much or actually use it for what you bought it for." It's a very good phone, feature packed with a big enough, but not too cumbersome screen and more than adequate battery life. Just not 2 days worth. Order arrived early, in original packaging and well packed for transportation. I do employ some of the power saving features such as power save @ 50% and black screen when practical. Really good value. Stylus isn't just for doodling either. It's nice to have for web browsing if you have fat fingers because you can easily tap the right link the first time every time. Of course, as "value oriented" offering, this phone doesn't quite have it all. For instance it lacks wireless charging and NFC. While it has a good-sized battery and USB-C charging, lack of the latest fast charging protocols means it won't fill that battery as quickly as many others. And while I know the Snapdragon 678 processor is generally fine, it only has 4GB of RAM behind it, so if you're a power user, some of your apps and tabs will die in the background and have to reload. And depending on what you do and how often you backup, 128 GB might be limiting, or it might be fine. Overall, the two biggest "sore thumb" sticking points that non-nerds should consider about this phone are the lack of wireless charging (you can still plug in, but if you're used to it, it's a step backwards), and especially the lack of NFC, which is not a new protocol and is needed for apps that do things like opening hotel doors and other electronic locks, and for contactless pay by phone schemes like Google Pay. For many, especially if you work a job that makes use of NFC locks and tags, no NFC might be the deal-breaker. If you can overlook those two (glaring in 2021) omissions, and don't need 5G yet (and you probably don't for a few more years), this the 2021 Moto G Stylus is a powerhouse at its price point. ... show more

The price was great and after all the updates were installed it worked well for most uses. Call quality is great, text works good, decent camera along with too much Google like most android phones. Fingerprint reader on the side button is almost flawless and convenient. Screen is large but not the brightest or sharpest but fine for me. Sound is clear but not very loud but meets my needs fine. For a ~300 dollar phone, I am very pleased with the performance. Screen is pretty decent, processor seems decent, RAM is adequate. Camera is... alright. Obviously this can't compete with a phone that's close to a grand in price, but it does perform very well for the price point. This is now my second Motorola phone and I see myself going for a 3rd after this. The special sauce they bring to the table is better than Samsung in my opinion. The moto gestures are just sooooooo convenient I can't see myself living without em on something else. I use this on the Boost Mobile phone plan and network, Boost does not officially offer this phone but that's why you buy em unlocked and then activate. ... show more

As a customer who purchased the Motorola Moto G Stylus 2021, I can say that overall, this smartphone is a great value for the price.
