I will start off by saying I have no interest in $1000+ cell phones - to me they are disposable devices that get replaced every few years. That said, this is the perfect phone for my purposes. The coverage (carrier dependent), audio, display quality and speed are perfect for my needs. I use the this as - wait for it - a phone - as well for texting and taking some pictures, mapping directions, etc. This is my 4th or 5th Motorola phone, and I have always been happy with the value proposition. Even through my former carrier the Motorola phones have always had much less bloatware than, say Samsung (ugh) which loads up their phones with all kinds of nonsense. When you buy it unlocked it comes with even less bloatware, and you can delete or disable most of it. It is much faster than my old phone, which one would expect, with 8MB of RAM, and 128MB of internal storage. There are several things I like about this phone, a couple being that it still has a headphone jack, and also it will take a micro SD card for additional storage. Both of these features are found on very few phones these days. There are 2 features that are unique to Motorola on the phones I have had, including this one, that are REALLY convenient. You can open the camera app just by twisting your wrist, and you can turn on the flashlight by a chopping motion - no screen to wake up or app to start up - brilliant really. Also, the battery life (5000ma) is phenomenal. I can use it all day, leave it overnight, and it will still have plenty of charge the next day. I really only charge it every other day. I will note that I turn off as many background processes as I can, don't watch movies on the phone (really?), and in general use it as a tool, not a brain-sucking toy (editorial comment :-). If you want a well functioning device and don't want to spend huge dollars this phone may be right for you.

Great for the price. I've been a Motorola user for about 6 years give or take. It has the regular bugs for Motorolas that I've noticed, like freezing when being plugged in, sub par phone audio quality and long startup time after powering completely off. These are bugs I've noticed in all my Motorolas but are otherwise insignificant and does not bother me. My last Motorola was the Moto g 5g stylus 2023, i bought this new one because that one had stopped being able to charge (after significant use of course, lasted probably 3-4 years). The Motorola power came in good condition, beautiful leather on the back, sleek, not much smaller than my last which is nice. Its light and easy to put into pockets and phone holders. Just enough storage for me personally. The battery life is also very good, I spend a lot of my day on the phone and everyone knows phone calls KILL the battery but after being off the charger for around 20-30 minutes while on the phone it hadn't gone down at all. Lasted my whole shift at work where I have to use my phone constantly. Charges fast as well. One thing I miss most about my last phone tho is the ability to open the notification tab by swiping down on the fingerprint pad. Wish this one had that feature and I feel it wouldn't be too hard even with the pad being the power button. Also great camera quality with decent lighting, though it does have ai enhancement that can't be turned off sadly. It does get a decent amount of noise in low light but nothing too bothersome for what I'm using it for. Otherwise amazing phone and a great replacement from me last!

I have been feeling like I needed a new phone and was coming from a Motorola Moto G 5G (2022) model. Because I had such a good experience with it, I wanted to stick with Motorola having came from OnePlus prior. The Motorola Moto G Power 5G (2025) is simply amazing. It was a noticable upgrade being faster and sleeker looking. It has an amazing front and rear camera and the photos have looked great. It has plenty of space at 128GB with optional added storage with an SDcard and 8GB of RAM plus 4GB for ram boost. It still has a head phone jack which is perfect because I still have a tape player in my van so I hook my phone up to it with one of those aux to tape set ups and then I can listen to my music while on a long trip from my phone. The best thing I love about Motorola is their UI which is as close to Vanilla Android as you'll get unless you were to grab a Pixel of course. So it functions much closer to how Google intended without all the extra bloat *cough* Samsung *cough*. The phone did not come with a charger though which I suppose can be a con but many will have an USB C adapter already. I was using my original 10W adapter from my previous Motorola until I ordered the Motorola 30W adapter as this 2025 version can "Turbo Power" charge at 30W which has been amazing. The phone charges in no time but also the battery lasts an entire day with ease. My OnePlus Nord N10 I used to have would drain the battery so bad it would barely make it half day. Which is why I originally moved back to Motorola. The screen is slightly larger than the 2022 Moto G 5G and can do both 60 and 120Hz refresh rate. Also the screen can be very bright! I usually keep auto brightness off and at night lower the brightness almost all the way to the left and it still pretty bright and during the day in sunlight, the screen is still legible with the brightness turned up. The best feature for me that was missing on the 2022 version is NFC. Now with my new Motorola G Power 5G, I have NFC support which allows me to easily use Google Wallet for tap pay at stores! Oh and the Midnight Grey color is absolutely gorgeous and makes the phone feel even more premium without the premium price tag. So if your looking for an easy to use and premium looking Android phone that is close to a vanilla experience like Pixel without the premium price, I can't recommend this phone enough! Motorola has been amazing and definitely will be my Android choice from now on.
