This is a great phone and incredible value. It is on the large size and it fits in a shirt pocket, but not easily and could fall out, so consider if it is too large for you. It is awkward for me, an average size adult male, to hold and operate with 1 hand. It is extremely sturdy and has tremendous battery life. The sound is mostly very good, tho on occasion, when turned to full volume on speaker, there is a bit of an echo. I am hard of hearing so need to do this, most wont need it anywhere near this volume and wont have the echo issue. This has only been a small problem for me even so. The hardward on this phone is better in most ways than phones which cost 3-4x as much. There are 2 areas of concern with it. On rare occasion I have encountered 3rd party apps that will work on Samsung platforms but not on these, which can be annoying it is an app that is important to you. There arent many like that tho. The 2nd area is a larger concern, and that is the fairly limited software support that comes with the phone. I dont have the exact numbers, but its considerably less years of support (OS upgrades, security fixes, etc) than you get with a more expensive phone. I replaced my old Pixel 3. Battery and price were my 2 main priorities. Battery, screen, and phone call quality are all better on the Moto G. I don't think the screen is as high a resolution as the pixel, but I don't notice a difference and it's easier to read outside in daytime. Performance seems a little slower but I'm fine with a web page sometimes taking 1-2 seconds to load all images or an extra couple seconds for a game to start. After loading I can scroll, zoom, and interact and apps & web pages are as responsive as the pixel. I have a few different Bluetooth headphones and speakers and volume is much lower than the pixel. I'd set the pixel volume to 50-70% and be happy. I use the Moto at 100% and wish it was louder on all speakers. I would have thought the volume depended on the source and the speaker, not the phone, but it's doing something and I haven't found a setting to change it. Volume is my only complaint but still 5 stars. ... show more

I recently cracked (severely) the screen on my 2022 Moto G Power (this one) so I'm replacing it with the newest generation. This is a good phone. Insane internal storage, great camera quality, generally easy use. Definitely fantastic value. It is big and heavy, but with the 3 day battery, how could it not be? Charges fast. Takes plenty of abuse without complaint. Before I had this one that I just broke I had the 2021 generation, and it underwent many injuries including being submerged in water with a cracked screen and it continued to work for weeks afterwards without any problems. The Moto G Power 2022 is my favorite phone. It's not expensive and it's a tough phone. I dropped my last one from the roof and it suffered minimal damage. The corner of the screen had a small chip and you couldn't see it unless I told you where it was. I gave that phone to a friend and liked it so much that I bought another one. I purchased a Moto G Stylus 2020 phone before I bought this one but the speakers gave out and sounded terrible. That phone did not even come close to the Moto G Power and costed twice as much. What I really like about the Moto G Power is that the battery lasts twice as long as the Moto G Stylus which only lasted a half day. I watch a lot of videos about guitar luthier technics. This new phone allows me to watch videos almost all day without having to recharge. I have not found another phone that lasts as long as this one. And I have owned everything from Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus to iPhones to flip phones. The speakers are loud and clear on this phone and it's small enough to fit in my back pocket. I would recommend this phone and I rarely ever say that about a product. Even my friend who I gave my other phone to loves it and uses it daily. I hope Motorola continues to manufacture this product because I do not see how the other companies haven't picked up on this technology to make their batteries last longer. So if you want an inexpensive phone that is better quality than some of the other phone which cost twice more, but it while it's still available. That's my two cents. ... show more

It's great for the price. I've ordered this phone multiple times and only ended up ever having to stop using one because I'd dropped it too many times. Maybe get a case. The battery is accurate, that thing lasts for days. Unlocked, so you can just throw your sim card in there. Setup is very easy especially if you're synced with Google from a previous phone, I had pretty much all my content from my last phone minutes after taking this one out of the box. Would recommend. I went ahead and got the larger storage model this time, but I've yet to implement much of it. ... show more

I bought this Moto phone directly from Amazon, NEW, in late July 2023 & I've been having problems with it ever since. It randomly locks up during use or it stalls during shutdown & it won't allow me to log off UNTIL IT FINALLY DECIDES TO SHUTDOWN which can take 5-10 minutes. The description says this phone has a two-day battery life, but the battery barely lasts 12 hours. As I'm typing, sometimes the phone periodically scrambles the spelling of the words & it won't allow for any corrections until the phone is shutdown & restarted. Most incoming calls go straight to voicemail & they get delivered randomly...it could be 3 hours, or it could be 3 days. I only use the phone for basic usage with minimal texting, web surfing, and phone calls. I've even upgraded my INTERNET service hoping that it would resolve the issues, but it didn't make any difference. ... show more
