I owned this phone in 2021 and after three weeks use I dropped it in water. When I tried to replace it, no more in stock. All but two of my smart Phones have been Motos. The worst? A Google phone that heated up and my current Samsung that I paid $500 for and it has the poorest texting I have ever seen. The decisions it makes in autocorrect have been so insensible I've almost thrown it in water. I can't say how many times for has come out as fir, but despite the options offered, none were ever for. The least intuitive smart phone ever. Calling is great, apps use awesome. I'm basic when it comes to phones. I am smart, my phone doesn't do it for me. But I want value for money. Hopefully this will be a pleasure to use as I retire. ... show more

It's a solid choice. I'm sure it's probably not the fanciest phone, but it's super affordable and durable. Seriously, Moto phones are so crazy tough that they're actually better than Kyocera without actually trying. I bought two Kyoceras due to the built-in case design and durability. Strikes me as stupid to buy a fragile elegant sleek phone and then put in a huge clumsy brick. The first Kyocera was very good, probably not that impressive on the technology side, but well made with rubber padding. The second one was a completely cheaper piece of junk. Where the first was unbreakable the second screen cracked in a month. The only reason I stopped using the first one was because it's Bluetooth didn't work with the Fitbit that I bought. My first G7 power was one of my favorite phones. It wasn't supposed to be as tough as the first Kyocera, but it nearly was. Never used a case, sat on it dropped it on hard floors, carried tool bags full of tools on top of it, and it always worked. I actually caught the damned thing on fire trying to replace the battery and it still worked even though the old battery had shot a jet of flame out the side. Honestly I would still be using it, but the new battery isn't any better than the old. This is the 3 day battery and the new one is as useless as a wornout old battery. Makes me think it programmed obsolescence. Was working fine then it's only lasting a day. When newer the battery would go through a 12 hour shift and only be down 10-13% with Bluetooth on! Also it charged super fast, but I think that might have shortened the battery life. Anyway this one seems good although it's clumsy to operate. I guess someone had to reinvent the wheel. The old G7 just worked seamlessly this new one is already pissing me off trying to do simple things that didn't have to require thought. ... show more

I previously had the Moto G Play and loved it but the speakers died (bought in 2017). I could use it with a Bluetooth earpiece but since phones are being upgraded in speed I went with the this one as a replacement. It's around 1 inch taller than the Play and although I like the larger screen, it's more cumbersome. I've had no problems with it and am happy with the purchase. Almost 2 years and this phone works great. Great price too! It is an unlocked phone so I could take it anywhere to activate. Good camera and easy to use. It arrived quickly. This is my second Motorola as the last one did not support 5G. I will order again when the time comes.

They description said that the battery would last two or three days and on a full charge I only got maybe three or four hours worth of battery. The phone kept cutting on and off by itself and this phone really sucked and I would not advise anyone to purchase this phone. I had received the phone on the 10th of the month and it was not working right, so I tried to return it and Amazon told me that the return date ended on the 12 th. that was bad when Amazon said I could not return the phone because the return date ended two days after I received it and I also purchased 2 phone cases for this phone at the same time. And Amazon told me since the case and the phone was on the same order I could not return it either even though it had never been opened. I have been a customer of Amazon for many many years and this is the first time I've had a problem with them and not only did I purchase the phone in two cases that day I also purchased the $60 two-year insurance to go along with the phone and they couldn't even help me get it fixed or replaced or refunded so if you're thinking about getting a Motorola phone at any kind I would suggest you do your thorough research of it and make sure that when you receive it and order it you have time to return it. ... show more
