    • Great phone and features
My husband got this after he smashed his phone by mistake. He loves it! Especially the "shake" of the phone that turns on the flashlight. It has a loud volume so he always hears it ring.

    • Great little phone at a great price
This phone arrived in perfect condition. It looked brand new. The blue color is really nice. It operates great. I don't notice any lags and it runs great. The phone arrived on time and I had no problem setting it up. It had some cool features I haven't had before like gestures and the phone did a great job of walking me through the initial set up. My one complaint is the battery. It doesn't hold a charge as long as I would like it to or think it should. But this was my first time purchasing a renewed phone and the experience has turned out to be painless. I would recommend this phone and purchase a renewed phone again if needed. ... show more

... show more

    • Amazon website did false claim about this refurbished phone
Amazon website engaged in false claim about phone being unlocked. it would not take my service provider/carrier sim card. I called my carrier in order to have it walk me through purchasing this refurbished phone, which the Amazon website alleged to be unlocked, but neither Mint nor Motorola nor AT& T could unlock the phone and said that Amazon is responsible for the phone being locked, which again it falsely advertised the phone is unlocked. it is unusable to me unless it unlocks the phone and i am not interest in AT&T or amazon as my carrier. ... show more

    • Works for the basics, but too slow for time-sensitive tasks
I purchased this renewed Motorola Moto G Play (2024), and while it functions fine as a basic phone, the performance speed is definitely lacking. I do a lot of remote data evaluations and take time-sensitive surveys on platforms like Prolific, where fast page loading is critical. Unfortunately, this phone is often slow to load when I am trying to test or complete a task. Because of the lag, I sometimes time out or do not qualify for the studies I am trying to accept. It might be perfectly fine for someone who just needs to make calls and send simple texts, but it really struggles to keep up with faster web browsing and work tasks. Pros: The phone functions decently for basic, everyday use. The sapphire blue color is nice. Cons: Noticeable lag and very slow loading speeds. The processing speed is not fast enough for time-sensitive online tasks or surveys. ... show more

    • It's a steal!
Overall good product for the low price. I was able to move my SIM card over easily. I saw a review that said moving the SIM card was difficult or impossible, but it was the opposite for me. Phone works perfectly fine, like new condition. My only gripe is that the screen rotates a little too much. For example, when I'm using Google Maps, I have the phone sitting in my lap, and the screen rotates horizontally both ways like normal, but it also rotates upside down, which is really just a minor nuisance. I really just need to get a phone mount in my car, so it's actually a non-issue. With all that said, I highly recommend this product if you're looking for more bang for your buck, a decent quality product without breaking the bank, especially if you don't feel the need to keep up with the Jones's with the newest phones. ... show more

    • Overall a pretty good phone
This phone is pretty amazing actually. The camera is pretty good and it's pretty fast. It has an amazing speaker. It has a SIM card tray and fits a micro SD card. And I love the fingerprint sensor in the power button. (And yes it is actually unlocked)
