  • Best Coir Ever
Size: Coco Bale 5kg
I've tried two other brands, and this was the best by far. Another commenter said it was hard to break apart. I didn't have that experience. I put mine in a large bucket with some water, and overnight it was soft and fluffy. Other brands took days to weeks to fully break up, and I've even had to use a serrated knife to cut slivers off of one cheap brand I bought years ago. I'm an avid gardener and can recognize a good product when I see it. I use this for potted plants and also add it to my seed mix (about 20%). I really like the soft texture of it and will be buying more. ... show more

  • Great quality coir fiber provides great results with consistent quality.
Size: Coco Bale 5kg
I’ve purchased 16 Mother Earth Coco Bales in 4 separate orders and my experience has been positive and consistent throughout. Having read the reviews, I was careful to check for any debris, bad smells, failure to expand, etc. I can report there were no bad smells, and there were only a few random tiny rocks and a string of plastic in total. This product should be expanded in a large container. I filled my wheelbarrow with water for each brick. After an hour, most of the coco had expanded (see attached image), and I was able to get the entire batch expanded after a little crumbling by hand. I then dried the expanded coir to get a large amount of fluffy, absorbent material which I’ve used for both potted plants and garden soil amendment. I have several large areas with extremely poor, rocky soil and this summer have amended the areas by removing most rocks and added 1/5 ratio coco coir. Since the coir is fairly neutral, and compost bags are heavy to lug around, I took a shortcut and added some Herd of Worms worm tea fertilizer (https://www.amazon.com/Worm-Tea-Fertilizer-Liquid-Concentrate/dp/B0BZDNCGGZ) with great success. Later I’ll be able to add compost and earthworms, but the amended soil is absorbent and I am very pleased with the results. ... show more

  • Compact and easy to use
Size: Coco Bale 5kg
I love these coco coir bricks! They give you a good amount of soil without the weight. I mixed with compost and perlite for seed starting medium.

  • Great product but holy price jump
Size: Coco Bale 5kg
Always as expected but the price has substantially increased over the last couple years, out pacing the CPI. At the moment it is still an acceptable offer.

  • Great medium
Size: Coco + Perlite 1.8 cu
I like it it does not have any nutrients so be advised you have to feed nutrients early I like it better than soil because it drys quicker only down side is it’s expensive lol
