Hello, we purchased this as a Christmas present and my son has been playing daily until May when the snare stopped working. I I am experiencing in electronics and hardware and complete completed basic troubleshooting.. the sensor wire disconnected from the metal contact base of the snare. This should be a warranty Ebel issue. I am reaching out on public forum because I have no other option that I have identified through Amazon to connect with the supplier. I really just like a replacement snare and everything would work great. My son really enjoys a drum set and I would rate it a five out of five if it wasn’t for the sensor issue. Great set for beginner. Recommend a amp to go with this set because the headphone wire gets in way. I recommend making sure all the bolts are tight, pads spin if hit too hard. Not does its job and helps my kids enjoy making music.

Essentially a lot of these Chinese drum kits are the same. there are minor differences between Tom's having Dual Zone, Tom pad size, whether or not they're silicone or mesh... but essentially the sound processor have the same set of preset kits and sound variations. Just make sure that the one that you get has velocity sensitivity on the pads and as far as the kick pedal, I haven't been able to find one in this price range that has a velocity sensitive kick. this one also does not. if you're getting one to use as a midi trigger then it's definitely worth getting this one. I had already purchased one almost twice the price and it was basically the same product with dual zone Toms which just made it harder to play. The packaging that the two came in was also identical so I'm sure they're all coming out of the same factories in China. ... show more

Sweet little drum set for any age. I play the drums more than my son. Different kit sounds are cool. Just need good headphones..I recommend Sony Studio Monitor headphones. Better than those cheap beats by dre.
