This is a quality glass container and spigot. There are 3 difficulties: getting the excessively taped box open; washing the parts and heavy container without damaging the glass; assembling the spigot with no directions. The following is the method I used. 1. First, wash and dry everything. 2. For the spigot you should have received: 2 white silicone washers 1 threaded metal nut 2 polished silver metal flanges 1 white silicone 1/2" strainer 1 yellow plastic wing nut 3. Consider the tube part of the spigot to have an exterior (closest to handle) portion and an interior portion at opposite end. 1. First slide on a flange with the convex side facing the handle. 2. Next slide on a silicone washer. 3. Install spigot through opening in glass container. 4. Working with one hand inside container and one on outside of spigot, add silicone washer. 5. Conclude with a flange, convex side facing toward center of container. 6. I believe the strainer which goes on the end is optional. Surely it is not needed for water. May be needed for iced tea, and probably necessary for liquids with pulp, seeds, etc. to avoid clogging the spigot. At this point I finally figured out the purpose of yellow wing nut. Use it to do the final tightening on the spigot assembly--just firm but not too tight. Remove and retain for future use. I didn't take pictures as I didn't know what I was doing. After it was assembled, I didn't feel like redoing my successful install. Maybe someone could add pix to their review as a few photos could replace my many words. The smart manufacturer or seller would add the spigot instructions to the package or website for those of us who need such guidance. This dispenser seems to be a quality product and should last many years, barring a mishap. Should the spigot fail, there are various styles available on Amazon which could serve as a replacement. And, they might come with directions.

The jars and stand are cute and as expected. However, the chalkboard signs are very cheaply made. The spigot & chalkboards came packaged inside each jar but it wasn’t packed. Therefore, during transport, the items were tossed around in the jars and the chalkboards cracked. I tried to see if I could get just the chalkboards replaced but Amazon will only let me get a refund with return or a replacement with return. We haven’t filled them yet. If there are any other issues, I will send them back for a refund.

I liked this dispenser so much that I ordered a second one for a party we were hosting. It was very easy to assemble and worked great. I particularly like that they were raised in the stand, so that you didn’t have to hang the dispenser over the edge of a counter or table. The only issue we ran into was the mesh filter inside the spigot—it didn’t work well with drinks that had pulp, so we had to remove it to let the drinks flow properly. I’m also not sure about the purpose of the included “coasters.” Since we were serving a gallon of each drink, two small coasters weren’t useful, and they were far too small to be for the dispensers themselves. Overall though, the dispensers were perfect for our needs and looked great at the party.

Very nice quality. The entire set is so adorable, and is a perfect addition to my entertaining ware. The stand is super sturdy. The base upon which the jars rest is covered with plastic “straws” so that the jars rest gently vs. directly on the metal stand. Would def buy again and recommend to friends.
