I bought a pair of the Ensley nightstands to replace much cheaper nightstands in a guest bedroom; the old stands were sun faded and showing their mileage. I chose Mopio because the mid-century modern look works well in that room and the bed is low, so I needed nightstands that match. I read the many positive reviews, so I my expectations were high when boxes arrived, but I was still surprised at the product quality. The walnut laminate is seamless and does a convincing impersonation of solid wood; even the touch and the weight feels right. Surfaces you will never see once the unit is assembled are still fully laminated and as beautiful as the outside. No corners cut to fatten margins here. Nice touch, Mopio! Some RTA furniture comes out of the box smelling like a glue factory. If you've purchased Ikea's RTA pieces over the last 10 years you know what I mean. Not this product; I didn't catch even a whiff of adhesive as I opened the box and laid out the pieces. The pieces are covered with a very thin layer of fine dust left over from manufacturing and packing. It wipes off easily with a slightly damp cloth. Assembly is easy enough. The instructions are good, the pieces are cut with precision and everything goes together as you expect. There was only one thing about these nightstands that is less than outstanding: the drawer hardware. Was there anything wrong with it? Not really; it's the standard hardware you find on lots of pieces from Ikea, Target or other stores that sell RTA furniture. But here's the thing: the rest of the nightstand is SO nicely made and beautiful to look at that the uneven pull and wobble of regular nylon rollers plus metal guides feels unsatisfying. I don't knock Mopio for that; they have made a fantastic product at a good price point. It will be easy to upgrade the drawer hardware later as a DIY project if I decide to do that. ... show more

While these are made of particle board, the laminate, fit and finish, and final product are excellent. These are heavy and well designed. It took about 1.5 hours to put both together. Very happy with final product- it has the Mid Century Modern look I was looking for and looks like a high end piece of furniture. After putting them together I noticed there is at least an inch of space between the back end of drawer and back of inside of cabinet. Perfect spot IF you wanted to attach an envelope to store papers, cards, cash, etc where it would be well hidden. Very happy with them- they look easily double what they cost. ... show more

The table is really cute. It has a perfect MCM vibe. It was easy to put together, I did it myself in about 40 minutes. The drawer slide feels janky but it functions fine. My biggest complaint is the back isn't finished...my table is slightly different from one of the other review photos (the one where the table leg split). That table has a finished back with sharp corners and mine is unfinished with curved corners. Not sure if it was a design update or what, but it really doesn't work for what I want it for. If you're going to put it up against a wall, it would be great though. I have purchased some stickers to see if I can cover them to match and I also reached out to the manufacturer to see if they can send some matching cam bolt covers. Will update if I find a decent solution. Pretty bummed because I also bought the matching TV stand so I really want this table to work out. ... show more

1) I never write reviews. It’s usually not worth the time or hassle and I’m regularly disappointed. Especially with assembly products. 2) these are typical “Ikeaesque” assembly tables. 3) the quality on these VASTLY exceeded my expectations. They look absolutely stunning. I enjoy building my own furniture from time to time but this set was the easiest to put together. Everything slid into the right spots super easily and not once did I feel like I have to struggle with a part; everything lined up so well! I was surprised. A much easier experience than putting together something from let's say... IKEA. The quality feels very premium as well. The finished product looks amazing. After looking for a cute set of bedside tables I finally settled on these. The rounded corners really made them stand out from any similar styled ones and gives it personality. I was nervous about assembly but the instructions were some of the easiest to follow with plenty of simple step-by-step pictures! The color was super accurate and they were both nice and solid once put together. I love how smooth the drawer is too! Its the perfect size for someone needing a smaller side table but big enough to still store the essentials. Will try to update with a picture when I get time, but I 1000% recommend these and would get them again if I ever need side tables again! ... show more
