  • Great charge
Color: Red
Great charge for price and surprisingly slim.

  • Not sure I would buy again. Battery doesn’t last as long as the last one I had
Color: Red
I have had several morphie and I have loved them all but this one doesn’t seem to work as well. For instance today my phone died about 5 pm and 2.5 hours later my morphie is dead and phone is dead too.

  • Overheats phone….not usable
Color: Red
This was indoors with my AC at 72 degrees. It overheated and stopped charging. I had the previous gen morphie case and that one never did this. Unfortunately this one uses wireless charging which tends to get hot, too hot in this case. The previous gen charged it through the lightning port. This case only manages to charge 30% more, the older one charged 60% more and much quicker. I would recommend getting the older version, even though it’s less mah it manages to charge more of the phone. It’s also slimmer to boot. ... show more

  • It was cheap.
Color: Stone
It was cheap. It cost about $9.50. However on an iPhone X running iOS 14+ the wireless battery pack only adds about 50% extra battery life to phone. Fit is not so great. The fit of this battery pack is less desirable. It does fit the phone nicely when sliding the phone into the bottom half and then sliding the top half onto the phone. However the problem I had is where the two halves meet is not right (see pictures.) The bottom half is a little wider and flared out causing a ridge when sliding you hand across it. This misshapen of what could only be the internal design of the battery pack to fit the phone might not be 100% accurate which is causing the to halves to be off. Even with the phone out of the picture and connecting the two halves together without a phone they still don’t line up correctly. It may not seem like a big deal but it should be better. The only upsides to the battery pack fitment is the ease of removal and installation and the fact the original lightning port is not blocked. During wireless charging the pack and phone together works okay. The pack and phone get hot and it takes a while to wirelessly charge both together. Using the usb-a to usb-c cable to charge the battery pack also charges the phone. I use this method overnight. The upside to charging is you can choose to use wireless charging, usb-c or Apple lightning to charge. A little more flexibility. When using the battery pack to charge the phone the phone gets hot and the iOS slows down and starts to lag. It’s best to start the charging and let it be to charge. It’ll add an extra 50% charge to phone and takes about 75 minutes. Not terrible but not great. The battery pack weighs about 100g and added to the iPhone X that brings your phone to about 275g or just shy of 10 ounces. It does feel a lot heavier and bigger with the battery pack on. ... show more

  • Okay as emergency power
Color: Stone
I have used this case for about 3 months now. My iphone X battery health is at 88 percent. The build quality is alright. One of the clips that broke that hold the top part in has broke. It still works just fine though. With my iphone at 11 percent using a jailbreak tweak to enter a deep sleep (sorta like hibernation on a laptop) it got up to 46 percent. It was also on a laptop cooling pad. Best case scenario about 35 ish on battery. (as you can see by the picture it does charge fairly fast at least when left alone and at low battery) Worse case is about 20ish (60-80) of gained battery life. This is when I was watching youtube the entire time while it charged. This case gets very hot (my iphone battery reported temps up to 44c/111.2f) The fact that this case is less than 15 dollars makes it not a bad choice. It isn't as protective but, having dropped my iphone a few times it has yet to crack. ... show more

  • buy this if you have the original X
Color: Red
this thing gets mixed reviews. but it is what it is. which is great. the included instructions are vague. but here is what it is: it's a passive battery case. it does three things: put the case on... 1 placed on a wireless charger it charges the phone first then the case 2 plug in the case it charges the phone first then the charger 3 plug in the phone to charge it does nothing here's where it gets interesting 1 it doesn't charge the phone unless you tell it to by holding down the button on the back for three seconds then it will charge the phone until it can't. about 25% in my experience. 2 you can use this as a back up emergency pack and never use it unless you have to. if you put it on a wireless charger it passes the charge to the phone first then the pack. but you HAVE to push the button on the back for three seconds for it to charge your phone. this works differently than you'd expect. but the built quality is great. i did get an error on my charging pad and hot charge once so since then i just plug in the case with a usb-C and it acts like a wireless charging pad to charge my phone and then charges itself once the phone id 100%. all in all, it's a pretty amazing thing for $11-13. bad reviews are from people who can't figure it out. ... show more

  • Good only for 30-40% charge. Warm up because of inefficient wireless charging
Color: Stone
The case look nice and sturdy, fits very good but however it fails to do it's job! CHARGING. It has 2000mAh capacity which should enough to charge at least 80% battery from full drain of an iPhone X but because of that inefficient wireless charging I only got 30-40% extra juice and most of energy got wasted as heat. Yes, it feels warm when charging and or getting charged. Warm enough that I can't feel comfortable put in my jeans pocket in this California summer. It's been a week of use and I don't think it's worth to add more weight just for 30% extra battery life. Returning next week when I return home. ... show more
