But almost instantly, I felt some relief from the pressure on my lower back. I slept great the first night and had far less pain the next day. Firmness was great, I do hope it keeps its shape. It's easy to use: just cut it out (carefully) from the packaging and let it fluff up. The instructions say a few days to fluff up perfectly, but it looked/felt fine to me. I am 5'4, so the height was perfect for me. It is pretty bulky, but that seems expected with this type of pillow. Very comfy, did not make me feel too hot or anything. I honestly didn't expect to love this pregnancy pillow as much as I do, but it has completely changed my sleep quality. As my pregnancy progressed, I started experiencing hip pain, lower back discomfort, and constant tossing and turning throughout the night. After using this pillow for just a few nights, I noticed a huge difference. The pillow provides support exactly where I need it—under my belly, between my knees, and along my back. It helps keep me comfortable whether I'm sleeping on my left or right side, and I wake up far less often than I used to. The material is soft without being too hot, and it holds its shape well throughout the night. One thing I especially love is that it isn't just useful for sleeping. I've used it while reading, watching TV, and even lounging on the couch when I need extra support. The removable cover is also a huge plus because it's easy to wash and keep clean. If I had one small complaint, it's that it takes up a decent amount of bed space, but honestly the comfort is worth it. My only regret is not buying it sooner. It's excellent. I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome and purchased this to see if it would help me sleep more comfortably. Prior to this pillow, I slept a bit like a rotisserie chicken. Now, I sleep like a baby. I've never used a pillow for my head that I found comfortable. The past few years I've defaulted to a wadded up blanket because every pillow I tried felt wrong. This one is just right. Just the right combination of squishy and firm, and because of the u-shaped design it can't run away from me in my sleep. It's always right where I want it, supporting me perfectly. Does it take up half the bed? It sure does. But it's worth it, and my bed-mate says he had worse sleeps when I was rolling, star-fishing, and thrashing about all night without it. Now I stay tucked into my little nest all through the night, gently held in place by the soft hug of the pillow surrounding me. The only drawback I'd mention is that it DOES retain a lot of body heat. After the first night I had to swap my winter comforter for a lighter blanket, and I'm not sure if it will be too warm to use when summer rolls around. Oh my gosh WHERE has this been all my life and especially all my pregnancies?! This is absolutely so comfortable. I really wasn’t expecting it to be so comfortable but even where I lay my head, I literally just sank into it. You can move it around easy and it’s the perfect size but doesn’t take up half the bed. My boyfriend can still lay on his side with room, and we have a queen size bed. It’s fluffy but not too fluffy. It’s super soft and thick, but again, you can move the different parts to your comfort. This pillow is so comfortable, my hip pain was gone in the first night. I was concerned though because the head part wasn't working for me, I woke up with neck pain and a headache. I unzipped the cover, and to my surprise there is a zipper on the inner pillow as well, which allows you to add, remove, or adjust the fluff inside as needed. I'm sure now that I'll be able to figure out something that makes this absolutely perfect, and for the price, there's nothing I can complain about at all. Highly recommend this to other mamas!
