My son’s measurements were in between the small and medium size. He is 4yo. We decided to go with the medium so that he could continue to grow into it for longer. It was too big on his head unfortunately but for some slow riding, on his 4 wheeler, it was fine. But to go on the back of our motorcycles I don’t want it loose. So I emailed the company. They responded within 12 hours, verified the order number and shipping address, and within a week I was receiving the larger padding to help. It’s still a little big but MUCH better. Awesome product for my 7yo son while riding his motorcycle and go-karting. Only issue is the visor is pretty dark for indoor kart tracks so I plan to buy a clear visor for it. But otherwise, he LOVES it. It looks super cool, fits well, and it even has a quick-release buckle (rather than a double D ring like adult helmets) so he can get it on and off himself with ease. He’s worn it dozens of times over the last few months and so far it’s holding up well. This is the second one i bought! Had an accident on a motorcycle with my son on the first helmet. He was ok. Plus he started growing out of it. only issue was, once visor broke off the first one, we couldnt get it back on because some small piece in the visor connector broke, off. The helmet seems to be nicely made for what you pay, but the sizing guide is way off. It says this helmet size would have fit a youth large. We went off of the sizing guide and this thing is massively too big. I’m guessing I need a medium or even a small but the sizing guide is definitely incorrect!
