It took me probably a year to buy this duvet. It's been sitting in my saved-for-later and wish list for months and months. You see, I am incredibly picky with bedding. I am a hot sleeper and absolutely cannot stand being too hot. There is nothing worse to me in the world. I run the AC nonstop in the summer and have windows open in the winter. Two words will absolutely turn me off from any duvet: 1. ~soft~ and 2. warm. No, It needs to feel like cool water woven into fabric. Smooth but not silk or satin. Cool but not flimsy. Heavy but not hot. No flannel, no microfiber, no ~soft~. Typically I look for percale but that severely limits my color choices. Almost all brands only make white, grey, maybe sage in percale sheets and duvets. Boring. So I kept returning to this duvet in my saved-for-later. Will I/ Won't I? Finally, I figured what the hell it's cheap and it's amazon so I can just return it. And I'm tired of searching and praying for percale brands to get their shit together and offer a color selection. I mean it's been a battle for years. Does this duvet feel like cool water woven into fabric? No. But is it ~soft~? Also No. Is it itchy/scratchy? ehhhhh not really. However, I do not get too hot and it comes in a million colors, both of which is what we established are most important here. Are you going to like this duvet? I don't know. Probably not, and I guess you can blame me. But I'm here to tell you that if your priorities are at least similar to mine, It's worth trying this duvet out. I've ordered a lot of duvet covers and this, by far, my favorite. The fabric is a soft cotton that looks like a good quality, brushed linen. I ordered the natural linen color and it is perfect with the moss green sheets, shams, and natural throw pillows I chose to go with it. I order a 90x90 duvet insert to fit this 90x90 duvet cover, and it was a perfect fit. The duvet cover has 8 ties on the inside so you can attach it to the duvet insert (my insert only has four loops, and it would have been nice if it had eight loops to attach to all the ties), but the duvet insert still feels secure just using the four ties provided. The duvet cover also has a hidden zipper, which i must prefer over the buttons. I think the zipper is much more secure than buttons The material does have some wrinkling, but that is part of the look, and with this duvet cover, you can just brush them out with your hand, and it looks perfect. i like this duvet cover enough that I may order a second one just to have on hand should something happen to this one... I love it that much. It is well-made, feels wonderful to sleep under, and it looks beautiful on our bed. My husband even loves it, and for him to even notice it, is saying something. It is an excellent value for the price, so I would highly recommend it to anyone. It is worth every penny, and more. Do yourself a favor, and buy this duvet cover while you can. The first duvet shipped was clearly used and damaged. There was a large hole in the duvet. Pillow shams were missing. The duvet was crumpled into a plastic bag - not folded like you’d expect a new product to be. I returned it the same day and received the replacement today. This set is perfect. Cover is soft out of package and has sturdy ties and a zipper closure. Simple yet nice. Only problem for -1 star, it has a 6” “snag” in the material. Would return, but have guest arriving so I’ll flip over to the good side.

I was nervous to buy a duvet cover online, and especially through Amazon there are so many options to choose from. This set arrived quickly and packaged nicely. It's a beautiful deep forest green that's even better in person, it washed very well, and the zipper is actually in a matching green color, unlike the item photos! It's just as soft as I'd hoped, and feels like a nice quality cotton/linen style fabric. I bought a 90x90 to match my duvet insert and it fit perfectly. No idea how it will hold up to cat claws but the weave looks nice and strong so I'm not worried. Very happy with this purchase, definitely a good value! First, the duvet cover feels fantastic and soft. I sleep Scandi style...I have the duvet + cover, but I don't use a top sheet. And to me this duvet cover feels really nice. Bed comfort is super important to me so I was nervous regarding making an online purchase, without the chance to feel it in advance. I have used Brooklinen and Boll & Branch sheets and both of those were fantastic, but this time I wanted to 'take a chance' on a cheaper alternative from Amazon. I wanted 100% cotton, I wanted something that would look classic + stylish in my NYC bedroom, and I didn't want itchy or super thin material. Second, I appreciate the look of the dark grey set. My apartment is very bright and modern, except in my bedroom where I'm going for a soothing, masculine, darker look. Anyway the dark grey is nice because it has a little white woven into the fabric, it gives the duvet cover some texture and depth. I think it looks more premium. Others have said it looks like jeans...mine is definitely dark grey in terms of the color, not blue. I was also considering a blue-gray duvet cover to match the Herman Miller desk chair, but I went with the dark grey instead. Some others have said the dark grey feels scratchy but I have not found this to be the case. Third, the details are nice. The zipper works well, and is hidden. And there are 8 ties total (4 at the corners, 4 along the sides) which keep my duvet insert perfectly aligned. Finally the pillow shams work well as advertised. They fit my 'king pillows' perfectly and they are soft and feel good on my head. I think the duvet cover looks better in person than in the picture, but this should give you an idea of how it looks on a king bed.
