Just finished installing these casters on heavy canopy legs and I like the stout quality these casters possess. They are solid with a feeling that they are a very quality product. The threads are so well formed that the supplied nuts glided off of the studs without a hitch.

The wheels, locks and bearings all seem to be good quality. Spin free and work as expected. BUT, the threaded studs appear to be pressed out for the 5/8" hex and a 5/8" wrench will not work on any of the flats of the pressed hex because of the way the hex is mushroom pressed. The tips of a 5/8" open end "tappet" wrench barely fit on one spot on all four studs. AND a standard wrench will not fit between the top of bearing shield and the base of what you would mount these wheels to because the pressed out hex is resessed too deep and the wrench will get pinched when tightening down the mounting nuts. A "Tappet" wrench is still too thick to fit and tighten down the mounting nut. Doubtful if these can even be mounted in the fashion that they have been manufactured. The pressed out hex needs to be longer so it is past flush with the top bearing cap so as to be able to put a standard wrench on that pressed out hex on the mounting stud. This is VERY unfortunate because the rest of the caster wheel seems to be built well. I would not recommend buying these wheels if you are looking to take them right out of the box and expecting to mount them to your project without trying to figure out how to possibly make them work. I don't see how they could even work if threaded onto a pipe style leg because there is NOT enough room to get a wrench onto the pressed hex nut on the threaded stud....

Pretty good casters but could be a bit better. My shop lumber cart was using some really old really small wheels that were certainly starting to struggle so figured these would be a good upgrade. The cart couldn't possibly weigh a literal ton so I figured the load cap on these would be well overboard. My hardest part was retrofitting my cart to get stem casters on over the old plate casters but that was mainly my fault for not planning ahead. The listing though does show thin plate wood installs so I figured it would work out. What would have helped (that I had to add) would be some washers to go under the nut. In most applications you would want to add that washer and it really is lame that they aren't included in the set. The wheels rolled pretty good before I loaded the cart back up then it struggled almost as much as with the old wheels. It works and the cart isn't light but the level of drag increase makes me a bit suspicious of the rated cap on the listing. Pretty good casters but probably best at medium duty with much less than rated load. Needs to add washers for most applications.

These caster are very heavy duty. They would perfectly on a cart or anything you want to make roll. The orange color is an interesting choice however it is a nice touch. How My Star Rating System Works & What They Mean: 1 STAR - Pretty much junk and I would return and ask for a refund if I could. 2 STAR - It works, but barely meets the minimum requirements it should in order to keep it and not return it, but I would not order again. 3 STAR - It does what it was designed to do, but there's nothing really special about it. It's acceptable but not great. 4 STAR - I am very comfortable recommending it to a friend because it is is well made, durable, and delivers on its advertised features, and I would buy it again. 5 STAR - I really love it. The item exceeds my expectations of quality, durability and functionality. Not only would I purchase it again, but I would also actively encourage friends and family to to do the same. All of my reviews are my own personal opinion and are completely honest no matter if I receive an item for free or I pay for it. I am an avid Amazon shopper, as well as an Amazon Vine Voice and I personally rely on reading reviews to make all of my buying decisions, so I understand the importance of honest reviews from my peers.

I ordered these without reading the description, assuming it would come with 4 caster wheels, like shown in the picture. The package only contains 3 caster wheels, which is accurate to the description, but not the picture. The wheels are good quality. I would recommend updating the picture to show 3 wheels instead of 4.

These casters are seriously heavy duty. Literally. They are heavier than I expected, which is a good thing. I don't have a lot of room in my garage for shop storage, so I have to store tools close together and pull them out to use. I installed these on a plywood base that I've added to the bottom of my stationary sander to make it mobile. The wheels are solid, and made of the grippy material I like for mobile bases. It's imperative that the locking mechanism on the caster not only locks the wheel, but also the swivel, and this does it well. The locks latch and unlatch relatively easily with my foot. I'm confident that they will hold up to the weight and work on top of them.
