  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Superior product
Moog has always made a far superior product. Typically these are rather expensive but Amazon had a great deal on opened ones from the warehouse-so I took a chance and they were like new and did the job. Would highly recommend. I installed them on a jeep WJ.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars These fit on 2002 Jeep grand Cherokee. Takes some patience and muscle to get the old ones out and these in.
These fit on 2002 Jeep grand Cherokee. Takes some patience and muscle to get the old ones out and these in but saved huge $ by doing it myself. These are a recent new design where the dust boot is recessed into the joint and it will poof out some after you fill with grease. Also the grease zerks are not the kind that you pop the end of your grease gun onto. They are now small little ones that require a needle end to fill them and they are right at the edge of the ball joint, not in the middle. Lincoln part 5803 or similar will work to get grease in them. The picture you see may not be exactly what you get as at the time of this review, the picture is still showing the older design. One thing I did not like about these is there is not a good flat shoulder to press them in from the bottom. It's more of a rolled lip and the ball joint kept wanting to get cockeyed and tilt a little bit into one side of the installer tube when trying to press it in. Got it done but poor design in that area made it WAY harder than it should have been ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Called the problem solver for a reason
Had horrible death wobble in my 15 wrangler and along with several other worn components, the ball joints had all but completely failed. As with most steering components I bought these moogs which tightened up the knuckles to better than factory! If your chasing death wobble issues, START WITH THE BALL JOINTS! More than likely there's more than one failed component in your front end so be prepared to fork out some money and replace everything including ball joints, wheel bearings, trac bar, drag link and tie rod, steering box, and get a wheel balance. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars As advertised....so far!
Look well made, installed as expected, good packaging and instructions. A little concerned because I could move the shaft by hand and was expecting it to be to tight to move by hand, but my Jeep feels tight and drives great now. Time will tell how they hold up.

  • 1.0 out of 5 stars Did not fit my recommended application.
According to Moog, Amazon, and every other online retailer that carries these, this is the correct lower ball joint for my 2015 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited. When I went to install these they fit so loose I could have pressed them in with pliers. My Jeep is in good shape. It's never had ball joints replaced before, so there's no reason there'd be fitment issues. I sent these back, ordered the Terraflex, and the Terraflex are vastly superior quality and installed with the proper tension for ball joints. Buy once, cry once. Avoid theses for a Dana 44 and get the Terraflex. ... show more
